76ERS ALL THE WAY BABY!!! Just kidding. I'm happy to see them back in it again. Really, I'm hoping for a Lakers vs. Celtics finals. Just like my childhood days.
I'm a Mavs fan, so obviously I've been in a pretty bad mood fanwise for the past...24 years.
Anyway...matchups aren't set in the West yet, so it's hard to say who I think will win what. Denver and Dallas could switch spots and Houston and Phoenix could switch spots.
In the East, it's going to be Boston or Detroit. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out...

I'm a Suns fan.. and I'd be okay with them matching up with the Spurs this first round. Years before, I never would have said that-- but being 3-1 against them in regular season, makes me think it'd be to our advantage.

i just hope washington keeps running their mouths. Cavs have been slacking lately they need to find the switch and flip it on. Hopefully washingtons big mouths will make them do just that.
I am a Pacer fan so I am shit out of luck this year! I am looking forward to the playoffs I just bought myself a 52" High Def tv and baskeball is unbelievable on it. I guess I will have to root for the Celtics this year.
i couldnt possibly care less about regular season. but i love the playoffs. that dunk by james was friggin insane! my guess is celtics and spurs. and i still love my pistons but i cant root for saunders and billups. and to trade ben instead of chauncy! wtf. but i cant root for the celtics because they are my dads favorite team and we still live in a jordan vs. bird world. and i despise the spurs with a passion. cant stand shaq. so i guess im rooting for ben and lebron. as much as i despise ohio teams of any kind its what im left with. so dallas and cleveland works for me.
ya that was an insane shot. and how great to get a double overtime game right off the bat. i really do love the playoffs. they arent just millionaires going to work, they are damn near ready to die to win and its fun to watch.
CP3 and the Hornets tore it up against the Mavs in game 1. I have tickets to Game 2 on Tuesday in New Orleans, but as of right now I have work. I am scrambling around trying to get someone to cover my shift so I can go to the game. Hopefully I'll be there.
I think I have to revoke my fandom for the Pistons to have any shot. I couldn't be having worse luck with my teams (Michigan, Pistons, Tigers, Dolphins).
Well, talking to a Philadelphia fan, I guess I could, but you know what I mean
and go philly!!! lets send saunders off to hang with carr! and send chauncey with him. mr. missed shot could possibly be the most overrated player in the history of the game. and saunders is absolutely terrible. hes been an under acvhiever with superstar players for as long as hes been coaching. i hope they get swept, trade mr missed shot, fire flip, and then i can start rooting for my team again. i dont know how that didnt happen after last season but hopefully this will be it for flip and chauncey. and i know that noone can hit all the big shots. but he isnt hitting any of them. hes not even producing throughout the whole game. and then to miss free throws???? damn i want him traded! or just let him go. hes not worth too much in a teade anymore anyhow.
btw - im still nearly 100% sure philly isnt going to win the series. but im pulling for them!
lol you should share your secret.... i know a few people that would love to have that immunization. ;D
and your are correct sir. kinda. it wasnt a trade. my bad for misusing the word. but i think it had alot more to do with the fact that flip saunders basketball is not the type of basketball ben wanted to be a part of. to take a championship defense and make it a joke. trying to win with chauncey scoring 25 points a night and hitting big shots. this pistons team should have been a dynasty on par with any of the great dynasties but saunders had other ideas. it was just poor decisions by management and poor coaching. i dont blame him for leaving. millions of dollars probably had something to do with it too though.
