Lately, we've had some "rolling boomers". Big thunderheads with heavy rain that only last 20 minutes or so. Just when you think the heat is unbearable, the sky opens up and says "here ya go, kids. Hope this cools ya off a bit." Yesterday we had one, and the temperature went from 95 to 80 in the span of an hour.
Watchin' a stretch of road, miles of light explode. Driftin' off a thing I'd never done before. Watchin' a crowd roll in. Out go the lights it begins. A feelin' in my bones I've never felt before...
"I want you to notice When I'm not around You're so fücking special I wish I was special But I'm a creep I'm a weirdo What the hell am I doing here? I don't belong here" -Radiohead
“Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.” -Benjamin Franklin
I think the forecast looks amazing. There is always a chance of shower/thunderstorms in the Summer months w/ the heat. I think we will all enjoy the weather as it looks now, plus, no dust!!

I called up my friend Tim Ross from Channel 4 news about the upcoming weekend at Roo...he said that it looks like no rain until Friday night / Saturday morning and that it would be scattered/isolated thunderstorms...I'm from about an hour away from Roo and the last two nights have been wonderful Weekend high - 88 Low - 62
Wow - the Weather channel is calling for a highs of 87 Thursday, 86 on Friday, 82 (!!!!) on Saturday, 86 on Sunday - with a chance of isolated or scattered showers each day. Looks perfect to me.
