Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Where is everyone sitting (for those of you sitting on the floor)? I'm going to grab floor seats since the Mr. will not do GA/PIT (@*OU#@&$*))#&*$!&*), but we are in! DJ, I need to check on whether we're doing the pre-party thing or not, but I'm sure we will.
Section 225 represent! Actually, it looks like it'll be a crappy view from there, but I guess that's my own fault for waiting four months to buy tickets. Whatever, as long as I can hear them play, then it's all good.

I'd take section 225, or any section for that matter. It beats not going at all

I have been in pretty much every section in the Garden over the years... some are higher up than others, but there is not really a bad seat (imo) ... and 225, don't worry at all, it looks a lot bigger on the diagram then when you are actually there
128 for me and Maniac... we are in waving distance Jack
Awesome! And I went to the MSG website and checked out the virtual view from my section - you're right, lordrockinhood. It looks like a much worse view just from the map.
I'm so quackin' excited! Haven't been this pumped for something since Bonnaroo.

I am just below you in Sec.94
Jack, as far I am concerned, even though you are higher up than me, you have a better view of the show I think. Like lordrockinhood said, there isn't really a bad seat in the house.I should know, I have seen 8 shows there .
*Edit- Here is the link to the virtual seating chart for those of you that want to get a better idea what your view will look like. They should put virtual people in there to make it more realistic though :-P : www.thegarden.com/seating/index.html
Alright, I think I'm gonna bend over and spring for floor seats on StubHub. I'll keep y'all posted. I'm seriously contemplating one of the Chicago shows...that plus MSG would make 12 and I like even numbers.

Watchin' a stretch of road, miles of light explode. Driftin' off a thing I'd never done before. Watchin' a crowd roll in. Out go the lights it begins. A feelin' in my bones I've never felt before...

Mine listens to Merle Haggard and Jimmy Buffet. Hmmm, maybe we should stick them together and rage on the floor like the hardcore fangirls we are!!!
Merle and Jimmy are pretty good man!
I love Merle. Jimmy, not so much. But yeah, he's not a rocker in the slightest, yet he's agreed to spend NYE in NYC at MSG so I can see MMJ. Quite a guy!
Dirty Jerzee, we're still firming up hotel plans, but as soon as we're confirmed I will be in touch. Regardless, thank you so much for putting together what looks to be a fantastic pre-show gathering!
I thought I'd post this info I found in rolling Stone online.

My Morning Jacket Plan for Heavenly New Year's Eve Gig in New York
No strangers to momentous New Year's Eve gigs, My Morning Jacket are planning for a December 31st gig at Madison Square Garden even more mind-blowing than the one they staged at San Francisco's Fillmore as 2006 became 2007. Inspired by old school video game "Oregon Trail," the band had dressed as settlers and natives and put on a skit where they killed and ate bassist Two-Tone Tommy. "At the end of the concert, he came back resurrected and killed the rest of us, and we went up a stairway to heaven," says James, who promises a costumed routine at MSG that will "pick up where that one left off, with us starting the show up in heaven." He's mum on what will happen next, but with three hours of music from America's best live band, you can bet it will be a religious experience. "I'm a big believer in the spirits and ghosts in a particular room," James notes. "We'll try to pay respect to the room, but beyond that, it's kind of out of our control." -- JENNY ELISCU[/quote]
Would anyone be putting on a costume for this event? Or will I look utterly ridiculous wearing an angel costume. I found great real feather wings on E-Bay.
