Really? One person had trouble at 'roo and three people saw trouble, and now you are worried? Don't be stupid and everything will be fine, you are ten times more likely to have trouble coming down from cops from Kentucky to Georgia than to have any problems once you get there.

I have been to 5 roos and have never heard this many tales of police busting people. So yes it has me a little worried. I skipped last year and in the previous ones had no issues at all and really didnt see much.
Whatever. Don't act like a fool and you won't get treated like one. Most of the cops and the security will turn a blind eye if you are being smart about it.
And hey, at least we don't have the cops that Coachella had. Noone getting attacked for being naked on the farm.

Well other than reports on this board only one of which seems to be really bad I have never heard of anyone not dealing being busted. In his case all he had was confiscation mainly because he was hanging to close to where drug vendors were hanging out. Once again I just would not worry, if you are really concerned get a haircut right before 'roo. It will keep your head cooler, and generally will keep you from being profiled.

I don't see how people got busted... i ate corn about 10 or 20 times a day at my campsite.... got rid of many rolling bowling balls.... dosed like crazy... i mean... seriously.... how do you get caught at bonnaroo?
^By either being an idiot, or in a very limited number of cases being unlucky. They right about 200 citations for 80,000 people I like my odds generally. I figure 90% of those are for idiots, and 10% are the unlucky ones. Personally I have never been bothered or harassed.

I think more than likely the cop continued tasering him from the excitement. Cops are people too and I'm sure it would be hard to think things through with a clear head with a crowd like that and with the dude continuing to resist.
That makes sense, that the adrenaline rise from the crowd reaction would affect how the cops handle it.
According to one poster from the Coachella boards who was there, someone in the crowd threw a bottle of gatorade out of the crowd that hit one of the cops in the back. Another woman had this to say about how the whole thing started:
"My son witnessed the whole thing. The guy pees right in front of a Staff Pro guy, and when the Staff Pro guys tell him it's not cool to do that, the guy goes off on him. According to my son, the guy starts calling the security guy everything in the book. At this point the police are brought in. After it was over, my son talked to the security guy who said that were going to let him go with a warning, but he spazzed out on them"
From that it doesn't even sound like the triggering issue was even nakedness. He just happened to be naked while being an a-hole.
Oh I agree completely - I can't imagine that happening at Bonnaroo - I would like to think someone would have intervened and convinced him to put clothes back on before it got to that point

I never specifically said I was worried about getting busted. I am more worried that it will have an impact on the verall atmosphere if people have to worry about cops coming up in their campsites. Like I said I skipped last year but went to 5 before that and never heard anyone saying that happened.
