i dont know if its all the excitement, or the fact that im on this message board all the time now reading about everyones experiences. BUT ive had 2 bonnaroo dreams this week!!
last night i had a dream i was riding my bike around manchester and i rode past the farm. as i got right near the farm it started POURING raining. im hoping this isnt some sort of premonition!
Always having Roo dreams but my dreams never make any sense. I'm usually just wandering around centeroo and feeling lost of like I'm looking for something. Oh wait, maybe they d amke a lot of sense.

hahaha, that made me laugh. but yeah i usually have some strange form of bonnaroo dream every few weeks or so
Maybe I'll throw myself to the dogs, but my back's not to the wall Maybe I'll lay some bricks for the man, but the days just aren't that long So if I settle back and chill will I see far enough to feel the angel's dream? I thought it was the Story of the World!
I have Bonnaroo dreams, but they are usually nothing like the real thing, I am usually looking for a place to camp, or sometimes Centeroo is drastically changed, with hills and permanent buildings and stuff, and for some reason my parents are always there, and other people I know who would never go to Bonnaroo.

I have Bonnaroo dreams all year. Sometimes the whole thing is taking place in a series of tunnels and sometimes it's being held in my gf's grandparents backyard. Once I dreamt that Cedric (TMV) stopped a show so that Hilari would have time to get back from the porto-potties before they played "Televators". Not only were they playing in a stilt-tent-castle (?) but, they all autographed a water bottle for us.

I had one last night, it was weird, we camped right along the road (keep in mind the bonnaroos I ahve in my head look NOTHIGN liek the real ones) as far back as we could be. After a strange stand up and pretend your going to not move so you can lay your tent down in a larger area we set our tent up. I grabbed a few beers and we started walking. We entered a huge building were all these people were in line. The people were all these uber indie snobs and tool fans. I saw an old friend from high school and we started talking, then my girlfriend came up behind me and started poking me, she was waking me up...that was it.
I should mention that I have had a ton of Bonnaroo dreams (including 1 a few months ago where the White Stripes were playing) but I NEVER make it to music. NEVER. Typically I am very far away and trying to get to music the whole time. Things always get in my way. I have yet to be able to enter a lucid state in any of my bonnaroo dreams...

^. I think you remember your dreams if you wake up during a rem cycle, which is no good.
i have actually never heard this theory before. I do know that waking up during REM is very taxing on your body. It usually happens to me during naps, and then i wake up with a POUNDING heart.. after some research on it i found out that its one of many things that happen when you wake up mid-rem.
as for the dream remembering.. im not certain. but i almost always remember mine. (no bonnaroo ones last night tho!)

a lot fo the time when you wake up in mid-REM sleep you wake up paralyzed for a little while. your body is unable to move for about a mintue or so. scientist think that most american alien abduction stories coem form thsi, and most european incubus accounts come form thsi too

i had an awful one today. well, it was just awful that i woke up
i was traveling with my friends in a huge van, on our way to roooo, and we pulled in, were in line to get our tickets taken, and i started hearing a weird car horn. turned out to be my alarm clock. it was 5:30, and i had to go to work =(

I dont think its the only way you can remember dreams, but i do think the only time you dream is during rem, so when you wake up in the middle you're very like to remember your dream. I'm surely no expert on this though, so dont quote me on it. ;D

I had one that was more of a flashback to last years MMJ night set, except I wasnt as messed up as I was during the concert and for some reason I was surrounded by people in suits. at first I thought it could mean Bonnaroo is turning corporate but then I just brushed it off as paranoia in my brain...

The other night I had a very weird dream in wich (at first) I was a woman who found-out that my husband was molesting children in secret rooms hidden under our house and garage. Our house was deep in the forest and all of the wildlife were poorly made, brightly colored dummies with clearly visible strings controlling them. After my evil-ass husband tried to sink my get-away boat with a golf ball, I found myself (actually me this time) chasing this little "person" wearing a white jump-suit and mask (with one eye closed) in circles on the boat while he sang a song that I can't remember now. He/it ran ran around the corner, into the bathroom and started screaming about how he was going to "cheese-kill" someone who was already in there. I ran into the room only to find him just standing quietly by himself on the toilet, staring at me. I realized that this had to be a dream, so I decided to run over to the mirror and look at myself since i've heard that actually seeing your own face in a dream is extremely rare. (normally, if i figure-out that i'm dreaming, I just take-off flying or something). I spent that last few "minutes" of the dream just staring at myself in the mirror. It was one of the weirdest sensations that i've ever experienced. It really freaked me out!
(obviously this has been drasticly abbreviated)

I can control my dreams in my head. While I'm sleeping, I'll realize im dreaming and then just start doing whatever the fuck I want. The problem is when my dream self is unable to accomplish what i want it to do. It sucks.

Yeah, this happens to me a lot. I wil lbe sleeping and I will hear my phone ring and I will try to move to pick it up but it takes me a minute or so to move my arm. I always wondered what that was about.

i have done that before too! its usually toward the end of my sleep. i wake up, think of my dream and what i want to do and im off. the trick is to not try that hard. its more like a gentle persuasion.
and as far as rememberign your dreams goes - its easy to remember them if you think of your dream as soon as you wake up. (or if something in your doialy life reminds you.) so instead of going to start your daily routine, you think of what yuor dream was all about, you will have a better chance of remembering. you can also write them down. a dream journal can get pretty interesting.

That is definitely one of the coolest dreams I've ever heard of. Damn

I had a dream last week that I forgot a ton of crap and had to keep leaving to go to the store to get a tent, a sleeping bag, and even socks.... It was really stressful until I looked up at the sky and it was like this weird red and the white stripes were playing... from then on it was a great dream.

That's called lucid dreaming. Lucid dreaming kicks @ss, you can literally do whatever you want to do in your dream and you are fully aware of it...it's the weirdest thing ever, but one of the coolest things too.
