Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
It's gonna be hard to say, but I'll narrow it down to 4:
Metallica at Roo Plant and Krauss at Roo Mars Volta in Myrtle Beach Levon Helm at Roo
If I've gotta go with one, I think I've gotta say Mars Volta.
I've still got these to see:
NIN in Duluth, Mars Volta (again) in Asheville, Voodoo (NIN, REM, Wyclef, Baduh, LIL' FREAKIN' WAYNE lol), My Morning Jacket in Myrtle Beach, Legendary Pink Dots in Atlanta.

#1 MMJ - ROO
#2 UMPHREYS - LANGERADO
#3 ROBERT RANDOLPH - ROO
Haven't seen too many shows outside of festivals so far this year, but a BIG honorable mention to Serj Tankian @ Terminal 5 NYC... he only played for about 70 minutes or so, but it was a PERFECT 70 minutes

I'm gonna have to go with Zappa Plays Zappa at the Variety Playhouse for now. I have a feeling that might change by the end of '08 because I still have yet to see: Willie Nelson, Gogol Bordello, and David Byrne.
Great topic. Got me back posting on this site. Took a little break since I did not go to the Roo this year, it was hard to visit the board.
Saw some good shows already this year. Tough to narrow down.
Radiohead - Atlanta - might not be the best show of the tour, but I had a great time with a bunch of friends and having pit seats. Although they premiered Paranoid Andriod for the tour with the crazy light tubes which was nutty.
Broken Social Scene - Shepherd's Bush, London - Great show, great venue. Over two hours. I finally got to see Pacific Theme live.
Umphrey's - Langerado - my first Umphrey's show and they were rocking. I was splitting time between them and STS9 so I did not catch it all, but I was super impressed with what I got to see.
Honorable mentions go to Spoon and Underworld at Center Stage, Atlanta
But I think that the best is yet to come for 2008. I still have David Byrne, MMJ, Radiohead at Lolla, Tortoise, and Girl Talk all coming up in the next few months. Its going to be a good time.

Tough Call - So I'm gonna narrow it to ..
Langerado;
Sound Tribe Sector 9 - First show, front row. 118. Just listen to the rest of the show as well. Phil Lesh and Friends - For the ones that were there, they know. *Honorable mention to Beastie Boys*
Bonnaroo MMJ - As everyone said, EPIC Pearl Jam - Love...Reign...O'er...Me!! *Honorable mention, Claypool. Fuckin' monkey mask!!!
Rothbury Trey Anastasio - Opened with "back on the train", he also had lots of help from the clouds. best visualizer out today. Primus - Another band scratched off my "to see" list. and added on to the list that says "see as much as possible" *Honorable Mention(S), STS9/Bassnectar/WSP*
Sorry, I'm not good at decision making.
If I had to pick one it would either be sts9/Phil lesh and friends via langerado or...
I don't think so, but I must see this man at one time. He's supposedly one of the most consistent live performers out there.
I've seen him 4 times, and ALWAYS amazing... (especially at The Apollo ... sorry Paul ) ... so yes, as far as my experience... consistant in the BEST possible way ... can't wait for #5!!!
Fleet Foxes and Blitzen Trapper in Philly was also really good.
I wanted to go to that show so badly. I think it was sold out by the time I went to buy tickets. It was at Johnny Brendas or North Star right?
Yeah, it was at Johnny Brendas. I freakin love that place. I probably would have enjoyed Blitzen Trapper alot more if Fleet Foxes didn't blow my mind just before they came on
^When and where are you seeing Tortoise? I would love to see them again somewhere around here... they were probably the best set I saw at Roo in 07.
Yeah, they were my favorite set of 2007 too. I just got really lucky because I was deciding whether to go to Lolla, and then I find out they are doing a free show at Millenium Park on the Monday afternoon after Lolla. Best non-addition addition ever.
Here are their dates. Forecastle might be closest.
