Wouldn't be so sure. Word is they're going back to the studio this winter then going back out to test the material on the road sometime next spring. Supposedly that involves tour dates in Mexico.
So, hopefully a select few US dates, as well. I really regret missing them on this tour, as I loved their Roo show, but decided to not catch them due to finances and the fact that I had seen them before... that didn't stop me from seeing TMV and NIN for second times, however
Vampire Weekend Bonnaroo '08 Just a fun show, and an album that has really been around this year for me
My Morning Jacket C'ville, Va Sept '08 I saw them at Roo but didn't really "get" them til after I got back and starting getting the albums, but I was clicking on all cylinders by this fantastic evening
Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds, Richmond,VA Oct 26th Just an awesome night of music, and the fact I didn't realize I was going til less than 24 hours before the show just made it a nice surprise. Now knowing what that night represented, and seeing so many people there in support of our now President-elect, just cool to know I was a part of it.

non festival list, off top of my head, no particular order:
radiohead- camden built to spill- the troc mmj- penns landing david byrne- tower trey- e factory MGMT- starlight ballroom bon iver- first unitarian church hold steady- rams head Pearl Jam- camden (night 2) josh ritter- world cafe
Pearl Jam at Bonnaroo was heaven for me. Gogol Bordello is just slightly behind it in my mind.
Neil Young in Winnipeg was pretty incredible, as was Tom Petty with Steve Winwood.
Also had the opportunity to see Ray Davies play an unplugged set, which was really good. Heavy on Kinks material. He was so laid back and jovial. It was at a festival, but it seemed like he was just a guy playing a pub in England somewhere.
I also saw Queens of the Stone age for the 7th or 8th time. It was by far the best show I've seen them play. Chock full of b-sidey goodness
Radiohead in Houston was fun. Had 3rd row behind the Pit that Night.
How many Radiohead shows did you get to this year?
Eight.
Here is how I rank them
1. Hollywood Bowl 8/25/08 2. All Points West 8/9/08 3. St. Louis 5/14/08 4. Hollywood Bowl 8/24/08 5. Charlotte 5/8/08 6. Houston 5/14/08 7. Atlanta 5/7/08 8. All Points West 8/8/08
I had an incredible time at all the shows. I enjoyed the first night of APW, but felt that Thom sounded incredibly tired and out of sorts for most of the evening. They played There There at every show I saw, and that song that night was easily the worst performance of any song of all 8 shows. The show did have it's moments though, Cymbal Rush being one of them. By contrast, the second night of APW was incredibly tight sounding. Very into it. All the songs that were repeated were played better. Videotape had a different take.
Kid A in St. Louis was epic, Houston had a sadistic Climbing Up The Walls that made me ooze electric psychedellic goo. Charlotte and Atlanta both sported a Talk Show Host that didn't come back out til much much later.
Hollywood Bowl was where it really all came together though. The tour was winding down, the venue was epic, the kinks of the road had been worked out. Arpeggi was off the chain all tour, but especially in California. The Second night was as grand a show as I could ever really hope for them to play. Thom and Johnny played "Tell me Why?" (Neil Young) acoustic after they did Faust Arp. Thom sang a few verses to "True Love Waits" prior to Everything in Its Right Place. There were other astounding moments, to which I was all but 5 rows away from the band. Couple that with the fact that it was the last show of the run for me, and I waited all tour to hear Karma Police, and finally, after 8 shows, they played it.... That pretty much made it the best show I saw out of the tour.
It only really compares to Bonnaroo in 2006 which was a special night for me as well. I'm very gratreful I had the chance to see them 8 times this summer. I doubt I'll get that chance again next tour.
Bon Iver @ Sticky Fingerz in Little Rock,AR (actually at the end of last year) EOTO@ Rev Room in LR,AR My Morning Jacket @ The Palladium in Dallas (Erykah Badu was there as well) Les Claypool's set @ Bonnaroo
