Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Also The Residents (Bunny Boy show or anything, really), and a return of Zappa Plays Zappa for a full 3 hours of late-night insanity.
ZPZ would be amazing. They would have some more time for set up, so they could probably put up a projection screen and have the videos of Frank singing like they do at their regular shows.

I think it'd be sweet if the Gorillaz had a late night performance on the What Stage, maybe even after another headliner (ala Kanye West after Pearl Jam). I heard what happened this past year, hopefully the organizers would get the scheduling a little better this time around.
I've been wanting Gorillaz to play at bonnaroo for a while. They would be great for late night but it would take a long time to set them up so I'm not sure about What Stage after the headliner.
*i like coconuts, you can break them open they smell like ladies lyin in the sun** *Hell I don't even know where I am** *for now I must sit here and ponder the yonder: The herbivores did well cause their food didn't never run** *We listen, if it feels good We shake** *You made a big impression for a girl of your size, Now I can't get by without you and your big brown eyes.**
^How would the whole Gorrilaz thing work anyway? Are they not cartoon characters? I mean if we are going to have a band not with real people I say Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem, Late night in 09 .

this coming from ultra-reputable publication which brought you the "LED ZEPPELIN SET TO HEADLINE BONNAROO 2008" headline
For real. Their ability to be totally wrong and innacurate is inexcusable. If NME ran a headline that read "The Sun Will Rise Tomorrow Morning," it probably wouldn't happen.
John: We don't even understand our own music Spider: It doesn't, does it matter whether we understand it? At least it'll give us . . . strength John: I know but maybe we could get into it more if we understood it

It wasn't the organizers' fault. It was Kanye's 110%. If he hadn't of been a prima donna and requested that he be the only act playing at that time, there wouldn't have been a problem.

YES! I would fucking go nuts for The Electric Mayhem! Seriously, I think that would be a totally fun and trippy show. Karma.
You know the past couple of years I have mentioned having Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem, and a Muppet themed superjam. I think Superfly/ AC is really missing out on a good idea here.
Trey and Kermit doing Its not Easy being Green would be pretty Epic!

I didn't attend this past year, but in reviewing the situation it seems like more could've been done to avoid the situation. Yes Kanye's behavior was annoying and unhelpful, but it seems odd that Bonnaroo would've booked him to perform in the late afternoon/ early evening slot when they knew his show was glow in the dark. If they'd just started acts on What Stage earlier and scheduled him for a late night spot originally I think the whole situation would've been easier to avoid.
Well a little light going into his show then fading into darkness, would have been OK, but some darkness fading into a lot of light sucked, and it was almost completely his fault it went down that way.

What sucked was missing Ghostland Observatory's laser mayhem and Chali 2na (with GALACTIC!!!) because I thought Kanye would start on time. I'm still banging my head over that one.
Well I love Galactic, and I had a feeling it was gonna go down that way so when they started setting up saxophone stands I knew it was gonna be awesome. Ghostland was good as well, I mean if Ryan Adams played 'roo, and his rep is as bad or worse than Kanye I would not go to that either. I know to many artists who want me to appreciate what they do, rather than these guys who just expect it.

He has been cleaning up his act as of late. And his shows were too brilliant to not forgive him. Sure he punched a lighting guy in the face and gave some dude a refund for yelling 'Summer Of '69' or the time he made the club turn off the air conditioner at a sold out show in the middle of July so he could hear himself in the monitor but the brilliance would when he pulled out his guitar into the audience and stand on a stool and sing to the crowd. Don't cut the boy short because of his bad rep, thats all I am saying. His shows are amazing. That said. I wouldn't want him to play late night. Mid afternoon main stage or close out the Which Stage. That would be the perfect time for him.

To me it is the Kanye argument all over again, performers with that kind of attitude don't deserve my respect or support. I don't care how good he is, if Led Zeppelin started touring, and then yelling at audiences about the sound before quitting, I wouldn't go see them no matter how much I like the tunes. I spend to much time and money on music to have to deal with Prima Donnas, and he is one of the worst in that respect.
