Sweet. I currently only have $9 to my name so I can't request any tickets yet... hopefully that'll change soon. I was hoping that you didn't need to pay just to request tickets but alas...

i still have goosebumps.......this is something i thought was coming....but in the back of my mind it was always there..."theyre done, give up hope"...........but this is like GOD told me that jesus will be at the hampton march 6-8
harsh? perhaps. but there are a million people out there that would be willing to sell a kidney to get tickets to one of these shows. i'd hate to see one of those tickets get wasted on someone who doesn't even listen to phish.

yeah - i thought it was harsh - because last time I checked - everyone is always pushing people to listen to new things and especially saying "Oh you have to see them live" well maybe there are people like me that have listed to some recordings or just discovered Trey Anastasio in the last few years - maybe we may not be lifelong Phish fans but still want to see what the hype is about and if we can get tickets we should go - but the way you made it sound was that we shouldn't bother because we are not true "phans" - anyway - it's stuff like this that keeps me lurking and rarely posting around here anymore.

don't listen to that. if you want to go then go. i was one of the ones that got into phish during there first hiatus then finally saw them live when they reunited and it changed my life forever. just because you don't know every word to every song doesn't mean you don't deserve to be there and have a great time like everyone else. go and enjoy yourself if you can.

i dont think she was suggesting that new fans dont get the tickets, she was merely speaking to someone who she knows PERSONALLY does not listen to phish, and feels that others may want those tickets more. just IMO tho.
for me im just stoked. was too young in the early 90s. later i got involved in other types of scenes (raver cough) and im happy i get another chance at it. still have my first phish tshirt from middle school (im 28). i wonder if my mom can find it for me in florida...

i'm in the same exact boat, (also 28). too young for the 90s explosion and only got to enjoy post hiatus. i couldn't sleep last night after watching that video on phish.com. we just have to hope we get lucky cause this is going to be one tough ticket.

i wish you luck, phriend
same to you! and hey if it doesn't work out, at least we have mmj on new years. ;D
Hell Yeah, im at work right now and cant get on that particular site but when do tickets go on sale? Hope they dont sell out in 11 minutes like they did last time.
Well f*#K, I'm not going to have money for Hampton so I have to wait for 2009. But if you can go Hampton it is the best, get your tics through phish tics. Got all 3 nights to Hampton last timed they played. There has to be a phish fest this summer.
Just requested them, hopefully Ill get them. It would piss me off if I cant get tickets to a hometown show. I tried to get tickets for the 2004 Coliseum show, I was on the website the second they went onsale and still couldnt get them. Luckily I bought a real ticket for 60 bucks at the last minute, there were lots of fake tickets being sold.
