If you read the description at the bottom, he's not even selling tickets (despite what the title says). He says it's for the "items listed below", which are a print-out of his rejection letter for tickets, and a "Be Good Family" bumper sticker.
Let's review that, shall we? A worthless piece of scrap paper and a bumper sticker... and it's going for 100 grand. Damn, you could buy yourself a nice little piece of property with that money.
Worthless a-hole, trying to scam us good natured neo-hippies... makes me sick <starts to mumble obscenities under his breath>

I saw this--and it's actually the EXACT opposite of what you are thinking--he's trying to warn people about trying to buy from scalpers and ebay--about the fact you may not get your tickets in time and won't be able to file a complaint against ebay.
Problem is, he wrote too much to expect people to understand it all.
Here's a snippet from that ad: #2. Purchasing tickets on eBay right now and then waiting until March to receive them puts you in a pickle if they don't arrive. a. Because it will be past the deadline to claim non-receipt of an item through eBay
b. It will be beyond the 90 day grace period to file a claim with PayPal to receive your money back.
c. It will be beyond the 60 day time frame to leave negative feedback for any seller who does not actually send you any tickets.
#3. Those selling tickets well above face value have ruined the chance for long-time fans (such as myself) who legitimately registered with the random drawing and those who will be on hold with Ticketmaster all day Saturday that may never get through in time
Watchin' a stretch of road, miles of light explode. Driftin' off a thing I'd never done before. Watchin' a crowd roll in. Out go the lights it begins. A feelin' in my bones I've never felt before...
I gut shut out on the lottery and ticketmaster (first time for Phish ever for me), but karma has paid me off in kindness and I will be attending all 3 nights due to a very gracious person who will remain nameless.

I will be going satuerday the 7th. Got a ticket from stub hub for $400.00 after tickmaster sold out I guess. Anyways my b-day is March 26 so happy b-day present to me. Saw them in Atlanta at Hi-fi and this will be my 2nd but more epic show I cant wait.
yeah, its somewhat new. i think its been going on for at least 4 months. maybe more... but as you can see, its not just me who experienced this
my advice is to try for tickets through both livenation and ticketmaster and see which wins. also, use www.time.gov to know exactly when they go on sale...

There is a lot of hate out going on right now over Phish tickets. It seems that Ticket Master gave most of the tickets to their own brokers before they went on sale. Was anyone able to get tickets from Ticket Master?

This was just a good example of why phish should really sell all their tickets from their own website phish.com not ticketblaster. They just have to many fans for all that crap. I would help sue them, and I would want summer tickets for every phish shows.

Of course you could have tickets. If a lawsuit actually did occur and was successful, you could probably afford to buy multiple 3-day tickets to the March Phish shows from even StubHub.
oh my bad, I forgot that since sts9 disowned us the forum has become private, its just a cell phone pic from today of phish all in the studio practising, hold on i'll get it up here
