Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Im all fairness PJ Metallica and Kanye kept a lot of other people away last year, you cant make everyone happy all the time. I still say if you are going to 'roo based on the headliners you are miissing the point.
i don't go based on the headliners. but it would suck to go if you don't like any of the headliners and there is nothing else going on during that time. we could use it as a time to rest i guess. my wife would welcome that. but usually at roo,, i'm like, rest? what is that?
Well personally I don't like Metallica or Pearl Jam, and Panic is ok but I am burned out on them. I also don't care for the Police or Tool. The last headliner that excited me was Phil in 06. Like you said though it is just rest up time for me, a three hour nap once the sun goes down is just what I need to rage it up at latenights.
There's some serious evidence pointing towards the raconteurs playing.
The fact that they are the first band on the Bonnaroo 365 which is a pretty big deal. Theyre giving everyone a chance to seem them in top form (and some crispy audio) especially those who saw Les Claypool instead. The first band on the 365 is gonna get some serious exposure so you would think theyd use it for somebody theyre bringing back.
Theyre also, the first track on the DVD, which in general is the track people see most. The order/line up of that thing is no accident. Again, it would make sense to lead with a band that's coming back.
This may just be wishfull thinking man, but I sure hope it's true. I missed out last year but no regrets because Claypool melted my face and scrambled my brains a little, but anything Jack White back on the farm gets my vote

Probably wishful thinking, but then again, so is every other band that's been tossed around so far.

I'd really hope to see The Black Keys there too...their new album friggin rocks and its all over the Bonnaroo's favorite albums of 08....I'd never heard too much of them before their 07 Roo show and for me it turned me on to them immidately....no two person band besides The White Stripes lay it down like they do(maybe One Day As A Lion..hell why not have them all three so we decide)

Unfortunately I did not get to see them in 07, chose the roots instead, but I have seen them several other times and LOVE them. I first saw them open for Beck with Dashboard Confessional. Dashboard can suck it, but I immediately went out and bought The Black Keys album. If we don't get The Black Keys, we may end up with Dan Auerbach on his solo project. Something I hope!

Not for the whole year, The Black keys have some dates coming up. I know they're playing in Baltimore in February. A little bummed I won't be around to go.
im predicting crystal castles will be there. based solely on their being on the ultra lineup and id love to see them.
i have a feeling late nights are going to put me into cardiac arrest.
The only thing is that they have never come to the southeast....and remember, Ultra is the top US dance festival. So there's more of a draw for them to be there. I'm skeptical.

I was shooting for realistic with the lineup . . . . the only thing I could not resist putting on the poster was Outkast. But, overall I think it is very realistic. Also, I do not know why more people are not mentioning Massive Attack . . . new album, never played Roo, perfect late night.
