Just wanted you all to know that our Earlybird $135 Holiday Ticket prices are over on Wednesday January 14th. If you Buy before Wednesday you will Save $25.00 per Ticket off the Advanced Ticket Price.
do you camp by your car here, or do you have to carry your stuff to the camping area?
you camp by your car, but if you find a nice spot somewhere else and want to put your tent up in that area, you're free to move where you want. In 07 we found a nice tree to camp under.
So what's the deal with Gathering of the Vibes, is it pretty awesome? I am planning on going to one non-Roo festival this summer, and it's in the running. I really haven't heard anything about it though. Any idea how it would compare to, say, All Good?
well, im from CT, so i might be a little bias, but I love Gathering of the Vibes! I can't personally compare it to all good because I've never been there but from what I've heard they are on a similar level... they are just very different. all good is on a mountaintop, vibes is on the beach.
gotv is on the beach right on long island sound. you can go swimming or sit on the beaches or on the rocks and still hear the music. it's fun to play out in low tide! the entire festival is very relaxed. I'd defintely recommend it!

I am now hoping to make it to this. My wife and I are trying to plan a couple's road trip with a close set of friends, and it's going to be up the East Coast. I'm hoping we can schedule it to make this festival.
I'm so there! I'm bitter I missed the early bird tickets!... Can't wait... I try to go every year and every year something comes up, but I'm clearing the schedule this year
SO excited about this. The gf goes every year and this year I'm tagging along. Such a good lineup! Grace, CSN, DSO, Max Creek, P-funk, Buddy Guy, Ratdog, Lettuce... gonna be fun. And it's only like an hour from me, which makes the drive far easier than the 19 to Roo.
6/18: Phish in Hartford 6/25: Phish in Camden 7/2-7/4: Nateva 7/17: God Street Wine at Irving Plaza 7/23-7/25: String Cheese at Red Rocks!! 8/17-8/18: Phish at Jones Beach 9/3: Rush at PNC
This Bonnaroo lineup is in dire need of some Rush.
