For some of the past lineups (at least 06, 07, 08)...those lineups, if I had the money, I'd easily pay $500 or more. Think of all the great artists you get to choose from to see, in many cases once in a lifetime sets over the span of 4 days. Where else could you see so many epic sets? A 4+ Hour My Morning Jacket set, an amazing Sigur Ros set, both under stars, add to that Pearl Jam's headlining set, Metallica's headlining set (If you're into them), then you've got so many others, Phil Lesh late night, great sets from Battles and Umphrey's McGee and Talib Kweli and Iron & Wine, and Les Claypool, the Racountours, Zappa Plays Zappa, Ghostland Observatory...and these are only a handful. Theres still 100+ other acts. I can't see that kind of experience not being worth it.

bonnaroo is a bargain, and i even say that considering the premium expense of traveling to TN from California... it's always proven to be sooooooooooooo worth it

Yeeeeeah....I had to wait until i got my tax refund money to buy my tickets so I ended up with tier 2 price. Not complaining though. It's still worth it.
I've been to 5 Bonnaroos and live pretty close. I don't think it'll sell out so I'm hoping to get wristbands from a scalper pretty cheap and go Sat. and Sun. I've always ordered them from Bonnaroo in the past, so I'm not sure what's gonna happen. I know other locals who have bought from scalpers without any problems. Anybody else ever done it?

I don't think you'll have any problems, especially livin' closer to the festival. I can't recall a year since I started goin' in 2007 that you couldn't find resold tickets fer less than face value. But since I travel some 9 odd hours to get to The Farm you fuckin' better bet I'm gettin' my tickets in advance.
The man tears are a flowin' after learning tickets were under $150 at one time.
I paid $135 in 2003 for one ticket, and the other was a comp. It's hard to pay the prices now, but it's so worth it when you fall in love with the Farm.

We met at camp inforoo in 2013
You'll have to forgive my foggy memory. There's that whole thing where I party all weekend long on The Farm. But hey, I look forward to meetin' you again!

If you can get to the manchester chamber of commerce the Wed before the fest, then you can buy bracelets directly from the townsfolk that get them for free. Happens about 6pm. I did this to recoup some of my losses after buying three counterfeit tickets one year. (Long story) Paid $150/wristband. Just waited outside for people to leave, and offered cash.
Has anyone ever bought passes via the payment plan? That's what I did this year, and since tax returns came in I'd rather just go ahead and pay off the existing amount. Has anyone ever done this before or know if it is even possible?

I did a payment plan back in '08. You might be able to pay it off in one go, but you'd have to call the billin' company.

This.Last year I had to go with the payment plan as I had issues with the website during pre-sale.Shortly after purchasing my ticket my credit card was hacked and had to be closed.By going to the ticketing website I was able to pay off the payment plan in one payment and avoid the extra payment fees.
