How did I miss this thread!?!? I've gone on and on about this in other threads but this seems like this is the most appropriate place, so after this I'll never mention it again .
A hand held GPS device. Originally I brought mine for navigating to the farm and for finding our camp spot for the first couple days until we got the lay of the land.
But what our group didn't realize was how incredibly useful it would become for finding each other. For example if we were standing in a spot watching a band and one of our team just absolutely had to pee we'd hand them the GPS, they'd mark where we were standing and could pretty easily find us again in a crowd of tens of thousands of people. An otherwise impossible feat! If a couple of us guys wanted to get some beer and buy our lady friends a drink as well, we'd have no problem finding them again (so long as they didn't wander off!!)

Embarrassing pstyle question. How do you manage your skirt/dress when using this? I'm picturing standing in a Porto, trying not to smell or see anything, both hands trying to manage the pstyle, pushing my bag to the side away from the stream, and there are no options for my skirt. If I pull it down, it might touch the wet floor, if I hold it up under my chin, it will fall and get pee on it. How do you not get pee on your skirt?
I'd imagine you'd have a couple different options... skirt/dress bundled in one hand, pstyle in the other. Or skirt/dress up against your stomach, held tightly with the sides of your elbows/forearms, so you have 2 hands free. (Same scenario for us guys with longer shirts.) Some of the portajohns have a urinal on the wall to the left so you don't have to look at anything.
when i used my pstyle last year i wore a dress and i just pulled it up and tucked it into my bathing suit top clean it with a clorax wipe and put in baggie
its 12 dollars so if you feel like it may be something you want go ahead and invest in it worse case you hate it and never use it best you love it...i did....my boyfriend laughed at me everytime i came out of the porto because i was so happy i didnt have to sit or try to hover over that yuck
you know those toilet seat parents use for their toddlers when they are potty training......not saying I am goion to carry that ish around with me all day but you know in the morning it can really be awesome that you can do your buisness without "hoovering" Also hypo allergenic baby wipes oh wee those were useful

I would like to see someone tell me how a plunger( to put on your car as a way to find it) was useful maybe super soaker water guns (for showering)etc.... Not to be buzz killington the third but these things that I see people name are very useful every year not surprising.....duct tape....bandanas...someone said granola bars..goods items just not surprising. Come on you have to thinks of the awkward uses for stuff you almost didn't bring or accidentally brought but it was awesome you did.
I was lying in a burned out basement With the full moon in my eyes. I was hoping for replacement When the sun burst thru the sky. There was a band playing in my head And I felt like getting high.
3/19 Portugal the Man 3/31 Japandroids 4/3 Alberta Cross/BRMC 5/1 White Rabbits 5/7 OK GO 5/14 Mumford and Sons 6/2 The National 6/10-13 Roo 8/21 MMJ and Tom Petty
I apologize if someone has mentioned this, but I always laminate a full copy of the schedule. I found the first year that sweat/water is going to render the one I'm given useless by 3pm on Friday. This way if I decide I'm not feeling one of the bands I originally planned to see (Kylesa) I know where my first choice alternate is (Bela Fleck).

If I had a laminator, I'd love that. I dont feel like paying for it or something, so I just put it in a Ziploc...and I think I printed 2 to be safe.
