This will be my 5th year at Roo but I'm really only just now getting familiar with Inforoo.
My 1st year a woman was selling pstyle's but the word "scrape" being used to describe how to, uh, "shake the dew off the daisy" really didn't seem appealing. From what I have read, I'm considering buying one this year.
Last year I bought a water hose and spray nozzle. Possibly one of the best investments ever. Less than $15 and it paid for itself the first day. I really only used plastic cups until I bought that hose but it's so much better. I felt it my civic duty to share during the real ugly heat one day. I got out and sprayed my fellow party people down for about 2 hours and it was a ton of fun.
Has anyone got any experience with dry shampoo at Roo? I bought some recently and I'm thinking about bringing it. I figure put some in at night and that way waiting for the cooler part of the afternoon to shower might not be so bad. I'd like for it to actually be a good idea because it smells like lime popsicles.
As an alternative to purses or backpacks, I have been using a server apron. I sewed some extra fabric on the back side of it to make it 6 pockets with the back 3 being extra deep. The back pockets have never spilled their contents. I would always get sunburned on my purse shoulder. I know that it's basically a fanny pack only less gay, but I totally love it. Probably because I scored a sweet tyedye one.
I'm sure it's been mentioned somewhere in these 8 pages but it bears repeating:
For the ladies to take to the portos: a ziploc bag containing toilet paper, clorox-type wipes, and hand sanitizer. Wipe down the seat with the clorox wipes before sitting down.... makes using the portos SO much better!
Bought the pstyle last night....hope I can make it work!
I believe in you carlaroo. Focus, and become one with the pstyle grasshopper.
So the pstyle arrived yesterday (lavender) and I tried it in the shower last night......let me jsut say it's a MUST HAVE!!!! It worked good and I think with a little more practice, I will no longer dread the portapotties, let me rephrase that, now I will only dread the portapotties when it's # 2 time!!!

I found a roll-on deodorant called "Certain Dri" at Walmart that really helps you not to sweat as much --and what little you do sweat isn't yucky and smelly. I started using it about a week before Bonnaroo to get it working really good and it was a miracle! It burns 1st few times but it goes away.(I dont use it all the time tho because u gotta wonder whats in it that actually makes your sweat stop.) Seriously--it works if you start using it aheada time! Its about 5 bucks.
A mechanical engineer to fix anything that breaks. Already am one and good luck finding another one, they tend to be much more anti-social. Don't forget a wagon for moving into tent only as well.
a folding table for the camp site and a real knife if you are bringing food. One year we only had plastic knives, which peanut butter renders useless. The table is nice to have, we bought a camping one that is really compact.

get the pstyle silly anna! just take wipes and wipe it off
I got mine in the mail Saturday, which was great because I was leaving to go camping when I checked the mail. I LOVE it! This is one of the best things ever.

I'll piggyback on this. A roll of TP is critical for both genders. More importantly, make sure you pack some TP/baby wipes in your pack to take into Centeroo. You don't want to be on the wrong end of chance at 2 AM when nature calls.

idk if this was mentioned before, but: Pedialyte
All my friends have recently started using Pedialyte to prevent hangovers. It's basically a children's supplement used to promote hydration; it has a crazy amount of electrolytes and a special compound in it to help you absorb more water. You add it to water like you would crystal lite. It's crazy, made specifically for dehydration in kids (mainly those who have diarrhea). Find it in the kids aisle, but I'm bringing some just so I don't DIE of dehydration.
Those Mio water things were really awesome last year. They made me want to drink more water and keep hydrated. They taste soooo good too. I recommend the strawberry watermelon. One 4 dollar bottle of Mio lasted me, the whole weekend and its so small that it fit in my pocket
