the more I think about it - the more I really wonder tho - I think the whole LZ thing last year has me to the point where I am not believing anything until it comes directly from the band in question or Superfly (and even Superfly is questionable)

and honestly is WSP can headline 2 nights...phish most certainly can keep the kiddiez entertained.
I'm not one to buy tickets purely on speculation. However, if Phish are confirmed then tickets will sell out almost immediately. We'll just have to wait and see...

Right on. I'm not much for jambands, but I've always loved Phish for their progressive and experimental tendencies. For me Phish is great primarily because of brilliant compositions like "You Enjoy Myself", "Stash", "Rift" and "Guyute". They can fall into mindless noodling with the worst of 'em, but when they hit it they really hit it.
It amazes me how Bonnaroo continues to top itself.
If this is true, this is an absolute home run for Roo. Isn't it also rumored that Phish will play Rothbury? Either way, for Bonnaroo it's huge.
Any guesses on how much this will reduce the ratio of hipsters and mtv spring breakers?
Actually, Phish is not rumored to play Rothbury. The Big Rumors of the Summer are Bonnaroo, Red Rocks, A west Coast Run, Alpine Valley>Deer Creek. No Rothbury rumors with any steam have surfaced yet.
As a Roo-goer who sits somewhere between "Hippie" and "Hipster", I'm happy for you guys that really want Phish, but I'm personally hoping the two nights includes one headlining slot and one late-night slot. That way you guys still get lots of Phish, but people like me who are indifferent get three headliners instead of two....if we can even get tickets that is.
