I feel like Phish tour announcement and Roo lineup (or at least announcement of Phish headlining) would have to happen around the same time. **This is of course assuming that Phish will be playing Roo.**
The Police made their big tour announcement a week or so befor Roo's lineup announcement. The Police announced Roo with the rest of the dates. I think the same could happen for Phish, assuming that Phish will be playing Roo, of course.

I would love to see phish play roo, but look at 2 two dates released, doesnt it seemed weird that they would play on the 6th in MA, then got down to TN for roo then back up to PA for a show on the 18th. the gap i there so i hope the play just seems out the way but IDK
that's not weird at all... it's the way scheduling works sometimes. venues book all kinds of artists at different dates. They have to try to appease all of them... so it those are the dates that were free... those are the dates that were free... :-)
I used to see Phish all the time back in college in '94,'95,'96. Then only rarely after that with work and kids and such. I'm ready to get back to some GROOVE!

I'm not 100% on this but didn't Trey play with Oysterhead one day.....then fly somewhere for another show and come back the next night for Superjam?
It's not impossible for them to travel far distances within a short amount of time.

Just bought Junta yesterday. I've listened to it twice fully through. I'm going on number three. I'm officially excited about the idea of Phish being at Bonnaroo.
^^You are correct about Oysterhead. He played Friday night, went to St. Louis to open for Tom Petty Saturday night, then back to Bonnaroo for superjam.

They could make their way down the East Coast for Roo (only 6 or 7 days between Mass and Roo). So lets say NYC, Long Island, NJ and one or 2 others on the way down to TN. Hit SC, NC, and Penn on the way back, then kick it out to the midwest. Seems reasonable to me.....

so far the dates for roo are still open for phish
you know...i was just thinking of the amazingness...not hopping/planing or anything like that (seriously the odds are terrible) but plant did say...see you soon...soo phish dead and zep as headliners...i can marvel at the thought...but it will never ever happen anywhere on the face of earth

phish - only a rumor. a logical and strong one - but still just a rumor the dead - seems almost a lock......but maybe Phil still has negative feelings after last year? who knows Zep - keep dreaming. it'd be amazing but can't see it happening.
