I'm going to be so depressed if this whole "Phish at Bonnaroo" thing was just one huge cruel false rumor.
I'll say it again, I think this was Superfly/AC's plan from the outset.
As long as I've been a Phish fan (13 years now), I can not remember a time where summer tour was announced and went on sale in January. IT was always late february or sometime in March.
I think the whole early announcement was part of Superfly's scheme to sell out Bonnaroo 2009. The plan goes something like this:
Book Phish to anchor your Bonnaroo lineup. Have them announce a tour leading into and out of Bonnaroo, but don't announce Bonnaroo with the tour announcement. Have Phish put all the shows on sale the last weekend of January. Sell out every Phish show of the summer tour 2009 on the weekend of the on sale dates. 3 days after the shows sell out, announce that Phish is playing 2 nights at Bonnaroo 2009. Sell out Bonnaroo 2009.
the boss playing the superbowl halftime show days before the lineup is announced seems to fit in well with this plan too
oh can someone explain how the two shows +latenight is going down? i dont really get how its going to be scheduled

I was never a Phish fan until I saw Trey play at Rothbury... (I had a super private sneak peak at his soundcheck!) But after that, I'd love to see them jam it out... Now, with 2 shows??

oh and i already posted in the collaborations thread but we already know it's almost certainly going to happen... harpua w/ special guests. who do you guys think will come out? the possibilities are endless. im feeling david byrne for sure considering phish worships him.

Ohhh man. this is going to be the best 'roo yet! I don't think I've ever been so excited about anything.ever! Seriously.
I can remember my daddy singing songs off of \Nectar to me when I was a little girl and thinking "I'll see 'em one day." That day has come, friends, that day has come ;D eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

The first (only) Phish show I saw opened up with You Enjoy Myself (complete with trampolines and word jam).
I know they don't open with it often, but that with trampolines would be a great way to let the crowd what they're dealing with. You can't walk away from that not impressed.

hmm...they "retired" the trampolines at coventry and gave them to the crowd..i wonder if they will break them back out.
I actually got completely denied. BUT, someone from another board (a private phish board that has been in existence for over a decade) hooked me up. He scored two 3 day passes on mail order, then also scored two 3 day passes with ticketmaster. He hooked me up with one of his extra 3-day passes, and he also hooked someone else up with his other extra 3 day pass.
The tickets that I got came from ticketmaster, but they are mail order style. I'm not going to post a picture of my tickets, but here is a picture of someone else's:
