"Disobedience, in the eyes of anyone who has read history, is man's original virtue. It is through disobedience and rebellion that progress has been made." Oscar Wilde (1854 - 1900), The Soul of Man Under Socialism

*i like coconuts, you can break them open they smell like ladies lyin in the sun** *Hell I don't even know where I am** *for now I must sit here and ponder the yonder: The herbivores did well cause their food didn't never run** *We listen, if it feels good We shake** *You made a big impression for a girl of your size, Now I can't get by without you and your big brown eyes.**
So first thing I thought of when I saw Alejandro Escavedo on the lineup was "That guy is totally coming out in the middle of Antelope."
"Alejandro Escavedo ladies and gentlemen."
Apparantly the accepted spelling online is Esquandolas and it was Mike's Spanish teacher. I think most of the mythology type stuff is just them messing around though. For example, I'm sure I remember an interview where they swear that the name Phish has nothing to do with Fishman or sea creatures, and that it is supposed to be the sound that an airplane makes.
Well I fully expect an EPIC Run Like an Antelope, so the vacuum will have to come out.
OK first off Fish does not bring the vacuum out during Antelope, never has never will. The electrolux comes out on I didn't know sometimes on Love you (Syd Barett cover) and maybe one or two others that I can't think of right now. Slower tunes NEVER the rockin' Antelope though. And just to throw in my two cents I hope we DO NOT get a vacuum solo...Over it......kinduve lame...move on.....
I don't care what you say about me, just spell my name right---P.T. Barnum "As I was walking up the stairs I met a man who wasn't there He wasn't there again today I wish to God he'd go away."
I might be wrong, however I am fairly certain he is credited with vacuum playing on Lawn Boy. Also I am pretty sure the song there that had it was Antelope. I think remember it live as well. However like I said 14-15 years ago I could be wrong.

hey, we have! Karma. I'm listening to Billy Breathes right now and watching this guy sleep. I hope all weekend long they're just doing random collabs when they're not doing a set. I have a feeling this is going to be, by far, the best one yet. I have a feeling that I'm waaaay too excited for it to just be February.

You know, seriously, I'd mock you guys for how excited you all are about a concert that's 4 months away...IF I WASN'T DOING THE SAME THING!

Definately no Vacuum on a live Antelope ever. But you are certainly correct with the lawn Boy credit. I understand how the memory fades.

I actually was looking at setlists last night, at the very least it was brought out in a jam that included antelope, and on at least 2 occasions it was listed as vacuum solo into antelope. I will post the link when I find it again.

im sure a lot of you all know this already, but Phish covers sabatoge by the beastie boys...how awsome would that be if the beastie boys came out with phish or vice versa
The stars are dancin' on the water here tonight It's gonna fall a soul when there's not a soul in sight This boat has caught its wind and brought me back to life now I'm alive and well
Well there's a much heated debate about what they're gonna open Hampton with. So I figured we could start answering the question of What are they gonna open Bonnaroo with?
I'm gonna say 2001, as we've already kinda discussed this with the ongoing debate of what they're latenight setlist is gonna look like.

2001 seems like a solid prediction (moe. came out to that every show in the Winter '08 tour). I will, however, counter your prediction with one of my own. Punch You in the Eye.
EDIT: As an afterthought, this is assuming their first Roo set is the headliner spot and not the late night. There you go, I just opened up more speculation. YAY!
