he can't tell us if we are right...he'd be in trouble with superfly if that was the case.
i do remember him briefly at the brunch, when i think about it my brain hurts cause i remember but i dont. really annoying cause my memory is tellin' me i heard that conversation. but of course, my memory is far from fantastic from that day

At times he told us vague stuff like we had the right answers for the wrong clues, or stuff like that. Nothing too specific.
As far as that first clue from the brunch - what I heard after the fact was that it was something that everyone assumed was a reference to Abigail Washburn. But it sounds like maybe that wasn't the actual clue, if the actual clue was said specifically to wolfmanjess.

Hey everyone this year is gonna be my first roo and I have to say that these clues are making me more excited for a festy than I've ever been. I'm talking real flippin excited. And as for the ac/DC clue, I'm gonna have to clarify my long lost deep thinking skills to attempt to figure that one out but for my own personal interests, I'm hoping it's Bowie

Didn't take too long, really. The part that will eat up lots of time is keeping on track of the clues and guesses when they really start flowing! But anyway, what else was I supposed to do with the months with no Roo and no clues?!

Good idea, this should make all the clues easier to follow. Karma for the nice site!
^^^more power to ya - does this mean I am off the hook and I don't have to keep track of all this?????
I suppose so! You can just help me if I miss stuff...or...WHEN I miss stuff!
YAY - - I am doing the happy dance!!!!! ;D Youhave no idea how happy I am that you did this - because I got to thinking after I made that first post about how fast things went last year - I was trying to figure out how I was going to keep up with it.

I just remembered another possible clue from the brunch. Although we now know that djjd is musician and artist manager Todd Steed, he wrote "Steve" on his name sticker (along with djjjd). Maybe that was his way of putting the clue right in our faces...or maybe Todd Steed is just a stage name.
EDIT: A quick Google shows that he's been know as Todd Steed for years so there must be a reason that he chose Steve. He goes by "apeville" at Amazon, though his site www.apeville.com is currently down.
Todd - if you're reading this, sorry for the stalker-like behavior.
if "Steve" is a clue man I hope its Winwood!! I saw Steve Winwood and Eric Clapton put on an amazing show earlier in the year! Throw in some Ginger Baker and have 3/4ths of Blind Faith as a Headliner I would be freaking in heaven or just Winwood!!! he has not been since 2004, and he did play the festival in Colorado over the summer.

Plasticpepper, that site is awesome! And pretty! Good job!
I was thinking about the clue about keeping our ears "big and open"...and it ends in "ho ho ho...ho"...maybe somebody talking about bitches and hos? Haha. Jay Z? I dunno.

I apologize if this has been mentioned, I don't always read EVERY post (I know, let the smiting begin), but could the AC/DC mean an artist that plays (or mixes) two distinctly different styles of music? Thoughts anyone?...

Possible I think, but that would be VERY vague if you ask me...do you have any thoughts about who would it be according to your interpretation?

^^Not saying that it's possible, because I haven't done any research, but for example hasn't Beck released a few albums that have been vastly different in musical styles? He also has the song that has been mentioned here, containing an AC/DC reference. This is just an example though. Also, as much as I would hate it, Kid Rock.
