Gilt Groupe is having a deal on Camelbaks, many styles are like 50% off. It's a member-only site but you can use this link to get an invite from me: www.gilt.com/invite/alisongary
They are considered a man's item when you get into the site. Last I looked they had 10 styles in various sizes, including a fanny pack style and a bladder holder-thingie which can be attached to a backpack you already own.
Oh man. I just replaced my lost camelbak the other day, but I still have the receipt and haven't opened it yet. Any idea on how often/soon they restock on this site?

I don't. If you sign up you get emails each day telling you what brands they will have available. It's crazy because usually they are offering designer chi chi brands. I was psyched to see Camelbak. The site will also tell you what upcoming brands are coming on promotion and how long their sales will be.

JetBlue Getaways and Hertz have partnered up for an amazing deal! In addition to fabulous vacation offers during the Getaways Sunshine Sale, you can save 25% on a Hertz car rental with coupon code HERTZ25. Coupon expires 06/01/2010.
That is the cheapest price I could find and I've been SEARCHING. I'm setting it up today to test how sturdy it is.
For B'roo in 2007 I got a $20 canopy from Walmart that was basically a tarp w/ a few tent poles. It was cheap and seemed really flimsy but w/ enough tent stakes it stayed up the entire time through crazy wind and dust storms.
So, my advice - go cheap w/ the canopy and get extra tent stakes.
I wear glasses and have a tenancy to break/lose them and I'm sure some of you feel my pain
I had been thinking about getting a pair of prescription sunglasses for Bonnaroo with expectations that I will break and or lose them I found it hard to spend about $250 on a pair. While searching for a good deal for a pair online I found 39dollarglasses.com. They have a decent selection of prescription sunglasses with lens for around $40-$60 but you can upgrade to better lens for a price. I'm sure there not the best quality but good reviews and the price is right.
There having a memorial day sale $10 off my complete set with hard shell case and overnight shipping cost $50.
Figured I might as well represent steepandcheap.com again for the noobs. Only sell one item at a time, could be anything from camping gear to skiing equipment to sunglasses, but it's usually at an incredible discount. May be getting a little late to be ordering stuff for Roo, but you never know what you might find!

For those of you who are CamelBak-less, Wal-Mart sells an Outdoor Products bladder-compatible backpack and a bladder for around $35 total. The bag looks and feels cheaply made, but I've had mine for three years and it has held up nicely. I've used it for school, hiking, camping, and festivals. Just bought the bladder for it today.
I'm glad to hear that. I bought an Outdoor products backpack/bladder and use it constantly. Seems to be very sturdy and the pocket layout is very smart.
target has travel size thingies of gold bond powder for 99 cents each. I bought 3. They also have little bottles of hand sanitizer in travel section and then in regular hand sanitizer section the large pump hand sanitizer for less than $5. I'm going to use the big one at camp and to refill our small bottles daily.
I found my tent at Target in like Dec or January for 1/2 off. I browse the camping aisles at the stores I frequent year-round, looking for deals. My tent worked out great, and it was only $40!
thought i'd let you guys know that my embark shade canopy from target was perfect, despite bad reviews on the website. i would recommend using real tent stakes and NOT the ones that are provided, and make sure to hammer those stakes in good! otherwise, it was lovely and stayed upright in the gusty gusty wind we had this year!
We have less than 300 days until the next roo, so it's a perfect time to stock up on some supplies!
In the weekly Target ad, they have Embark brand sleeping bags for $14 and a queen-sized air mattress (with a rechargeable pump) for $28. There's also a tent on sale but it doesn't look terribly sturdy.
Plastic sterilite containers for $4.49 at Target, too. I'm in need of a new one since I busted the lid on my Roo container this year.
I don't know how well these work but ihavetohavethat.com has solar powered caps on sale for 5.99. For that Price I'll give it a shot. Solar Powered Fan Cap

Big sale at Target! A bunch of tents are on sale. They had a Kelty screen tent 50% off ($75) I got a 2-burner Coleman stove 50% of for $35, and they had another brand one for $25.

A bunch of Target's camping stuff is on clearance at my store, my sister got a nice Kelty Rain jacket for like $8!
Heads up. I was just checking out geartrade.com and they have some ridiculous deals in tents right now (plus other stuff), such as the $300 4 person kelty tent for under $50 www.geartrade.com/browse/106/93/164?sort=Price
edit: turns out that tent is not in good shape, but it's still a good site.
Emoney serves more of a purpose than any of you, especially Nate, whose incessant, garbled ramblings are so mindless and pointless that I get depressed just seeing them.
Hearos is giving away free ear plugs. You definitely want them while you're on the farm if you want to sleep. Here's the site www.hearos.com/index/trial
