lol might be handy for some, i guess... there are 3 other deals listed on the right though... stool type chairs, picnic blanket, and loveseat type camp chair that might interest more people
I was eyeing the stool chairs, nut don't want to spend $25 if I only want two. They've got a three-legged canopy for 55+15 S&H.
Yeah, I got the EZ Up from Sears last week. I haven't opened it, because there isn't a spot for us to set it up. The wheels weren't broken though (my main concern), so that's good.
dunno the brand on this one, and though it claims 8'x9.5', it'd probably be a triangle coverage, which wouldn't be the same area as the square EZ-Up.
well, the Sears one has angled legs so that's not even 10x10 up top. I read it's around 8x8 but then angles out to be 10x10 on bottom. *shrugs*
Yeah, I know. I realized that after I ordered it. I didn't even know they had angled = smaller area canopies.
I did see that someone did buy the actual 10'x10' versioin, but it was like another ten or fifteen bucks (still on Sears), but I'm trying my best not so spend a ton more money, so the 8x8 angled EZ Up will have to do. I still think it has more area than the triangle one on the dealonly site. BTW, the background in that picture looks so dreamesque and fake. But I want to be there.
yup. It's $80 for the actual 10x10 i think. There's also a 12x12 version too for more, but the cheapest was the $60 angled legs one. I got it only cause it was cheapest and reliable... I think there's a cheaper canopy in some Walmarts but it's not EZ Up brand so that'd make me feel like I'm at more risk of it breaking. I definitely understand the saving up money... If I had the money, I might've just went with the 12x12 to make sure my tent fit underneath and all that jazz...

I feel the same. The tent we have is just a 3 man North Face, and we don't plan on putting up the rain fly if we can help it, but it'll still be almost 8' long, and about 6' wide. Doesn't leave a lot of room for our chairs or other shade. Maybe with a tarp we'll be able to bow out the shade a bit with some extra stakes. The 8x8 already weighs 37 pounds. I wonder how much heavier the 12x12 would be to lug around. So yeah, maybe not perfect with the mini EZ Up, but still a boatload better than we had last year, so I'll be happy enough.
BTW, nice job saying "all that jazz." I say it a lot in real life and people look at my like I'm a fool. . . which I am, but still.
I got the $60 EZ-up from Sears and it seems like it will be big enough for us! Great quality. Very happy with the purchase. Don't doubt the instructions when they say you need two people though

Mine that I got a Dick's Sporting Goods said it needed two people, but I made it happen by myself. For anyone flying solo who is using an ez-up, it can be made a lot easier by staking down a corner when you're unfolding it... or ask your neighbor. Depends on your level of social comfort.
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.
Just picked this up as an impulse buy this weekend. 3 in 1 Waterproof Blanket. I'm not a huge blanket guy but my wife is. Waterproof and a carry strap sold me for $15. Online says sold out but I got mine in a store.
Any body know of a good place to purchase tapestries from? I wanted to pick up a few to use as shade walls on my ez-up, I found some on ebay and amazon just wondering if there's any where else?
Also, I pick up some twin sheets and tie dye them each year. I work at a hospital so I have easy access, but I imagine Walmart or Target has white twin sheets for pretty cheap and a Jacquard tie-dye kit is about 16 dollars at craft stores. I just dyed 10 sheets with one kit yesterday.

Also think about checking out the fabric store near you, you may be able to get some cool patterns there
I got my tye-dyed sheet (as seen in the background of my avatar photo) at goodwill a few years ago for like $2. Goodwill is a good place to pick up old sheets to tye-dye.
I'm shopping for a set of comfy chairs for Centeroo and realize there are restrictions including not any higher that a foot off the ground. Also, I've read where framed backpacks are NOT allowed in.
I came across these awesome backpack chairs and wondered if they would be allowed into Centeroo.

The chair-height restrictions seem to be arbitrary because people bring in all types of chairs. We've taken our regular $9 chairs in bags for years, even though they sit a little higher off the ground than the rules state.
I've seen plenty of people with the backpack chairs, too. But a word of caution- those things are kind of wide on your back. While maneuvering through crowds with them on your back, be considerate of others that you might unknowingly knock down (or out).
Thanks for the feedback on the chairs. I understand the maneuverability issue with the crowds. I will use the utmost consideration with all those in the near vicinity.
This is going to be an awesome event and can't wait to jammmm out with everyone.
I'm hitting 50 yr old this Monday and will be a great post-b-day gift to moi!
Planning to use this and a 5 gallon water jug to have water for washing up then filling water bottles to put in a cooler. Or just drink warm water if worse comes to worse.
^I tie dye old sheets, too. You can even get the Rit color remover and do a reverse tie dye on colored sheets if you have some old ones laying around.
I did it this way the first year. And it did work pretty well. The colors were of nice, muted tones instead of the vibrant colors of the kit. I think it ended up being a little more expensive this way because I opted for more colors. But, once again, this is a great way to do it as well.
