I saw that, but it was cheaper without the code. (only $4.99) Thanks again!
ah ok. Same thing for me. I didnt know about the code last night but it was still thankfully cheaper when I got a flashlight and the tablecloth (might as well try it out for that cheap).
The 13deals products are always changing. I saw some bungee cords, 3 free flashlights (opposed to the monty python playing cards), memory foam insoles, etc. Many are the same though
Big (64 oz.) stainless steel flask. Supposed to hold 1.75L. This will solve the problem of not being able to bring glass booze bottles in. I just ordered 2. They are $10.74 each and if you get $25 worth of stuff to order shipping is free.

wow. I'm not sure how I feel about that thing. Friggin huge. Be easier (albeit not near as high falutin') and cheaper to just put it in a soda bottle.
That said, since I saw that this is on amazon.com, there is a site that has the prices for said products on amazon and other sites over the last few months. So, let's say amazon has this flask on sale for $12, we can check this other website and see that amazon actually was selling it for $9.50 just a few weeks ago, and amazon is not actually selling it cheap at the $12 price point.

Pretty cool site, if you ask me. You can copy and paste the url from whatever product on amazon that you want to check.
Well, to put a 1.75L handle in a soda bottle, it would take a 2L soda bottle, which seems to me to be a little more bulky than this flask. I tried that site you suggested and couldn't find a 64 oz. flask. And I posted this when Amazon had it for $10.74.
If you're looking for the absolute cheapest way to go, a plastic soda bottle is probably it. BUT, we are talking here about bringing in quality booze in something other than glass. Call me bourgeoisie, but I'd rather put Crown Royal and Grey Goose in a stainless flask than a clear soda bottle.
If you're bringing Taaka vodka and Jim Beam, soda bottle it is.
not really a true 10x10... goes up to 8x8 at the top it looks like. my tent is 10x8 and its going under it. will be tight
yup. I bought that 1. I knew that going into it though. If I were taking it, I'd put the tent partially under or right at the edge and angle a tarp above the tent far enough away to not have any water pool at the bottom of the tent, to allow airflow, and block the sun. Then, I'd have more sitting room underneath the rest of the EZ Up.

i may still buy one... someone is loaning me an EZup, but i wanted at least 2 for the site.. i guess which ever one is bigger i'll use for my tent. at the worst i'll use sheets for the sides for airflow and a silver tarp for the east direction

Apparently you took me the wrong way. I wasn't trying to be a dic[/]k. I've just never seen a flask bigger than 12-14 ounces or so, and it seemed kind of comical to me being so large. I just pictured somebody with a giant bow tie, oversized sunglasses, and a huge eraser drinking out of a half gallon flask. Also, the $12 and $9.50 was just an arbitrary number. I know it was. $10.74 when you posted the link because you said so in that post.
I agree something such as pappy 23 being put in a Pepsi bottle is sacriligious, and would be best in a flask if no glass can be involved. You could also squeeze the remaining 8oz of air out of the soda bottle and it'd be no bulkier than the flask.I'd have no problem putting Grey Goose in one--vodka is meh to me (not aged, no flavor except for alcohol, bit varying degrees of smoothness {or roughness}). Whiskey, Bourbon, tequila, mezcal, Scotch, etc. are much more worthy of the flask--again, depending on the quality, and also, better suited to another thread.
I agree, Amazon didn't show up on the camel site, but from "third party merchants" or whatever had it at ~$6.50 price point. This address was from their mobile site, as I'm on my phone. Hopefully the URL will still work on a computer.
My apologies to Iowa for my shortness. I did read your post as being critical.
I was simply trying to help others out who are looking for (as I was) a way to bring whatever liquor they wanted into roo without having to buy a different brand than they are used to simply to avoid glass.
My flasks arrived this morning. Upon inspection, I find them to be decent quality, with no smell at all and after washing them out, I can find no metal particles in them.
Size is the main consideration for me. You can definitely take two of these in the same space as 1 two liter bottle.
Again, Iowa, I apologize that I seemed defensive. I won't go into my first Bonnaroo with any bad vibes!

No harm, no foul. I reread my post and it must have been late and after a few beers, as I could've written it better.
Thanks for taking the picture. Is it any wider than a 2L?
If I can remember, I'll buy a little flight booze (plastic) bottle and fill it with some Anchor Old Potrero 18 Century Rye for you as an olive branch

Also, regarding amazon, if anybody's looking to make the $25 free shipping thing, there's this site: www.filleritem.com/
You just plug in how much $ you are from the $25, and it lists everything on amazon to get you over the mark. Looks like the cheapest thing on there now is $0.38--used to be a nylon screw or something, which was ~$0.10.

Idk who's driving down and needs a GPS at a good price. But the Magellan RoadMate 1470 4.7" Widescreen Portable GPS is $79.99 + $5.00 shipping on Woot for today only!
I went to Academy Sports yesterday and bought a twin air mattress, it's Intex brand, for $9.99. The pump which takes C batteries was $7.99. Air mattress is really nice, definitely comparable to more expensive ones I have bought in the past. They also had fold out camp chairs with a cup holder for $5.99.
