I just had to come back and post that the portable Energizer cell phone charger I picked up on sale at Target over the weekend works great! I posted the details a page back but picked it up on sale for $40, $20 cheaper.
But if anyone is thinking about getting one, you should check your Target to see if they are on sale, it really worked great and charged fast too. It says you can charge 500 times before it starts losing battery power. It's also really lightweight, it's a tiny bit bigger than an iphone but it comes with a nifty drawstring velvet bag to keep it in and 7 different tips for various cell phones.

We just went to Dick's over the weekend to look at cots and they only had one available. It was a green one and it was $79.99. They had one on display but it was hooked upright against the wall which doesn't make sense. I am so hesitant to spend the money on one when I can't try it out.
Check your local thrift store! I was browsing the other day and picked up 4 brand new Byer Allagash cots for $10 each. I just looked them up and they go for about $45 each.

I was at Wal-mart today and checked out the camping section and they had 2 different cots. One of them was a green Coleman that came with a thin mattress pad. It was actually really comfortable! It was $44.88 which isn't bad at all I thought. I'm going to take hubby back to try it.
I actually am having a hard time finding this cot online anywhere which is weird. They don't have it on the Wal-mart site or the Coleman site either.
Here are a few pictures of my son on it with the mat on and off that I took so I could show my husband but I think I definitely want to get this one. It was comfortable and the price wasn't too crazy.

My Camelbak Daystar arrived! The quality is fantastic and it's the perfect size. Room for 70oz of water in the bladder, 2 waterbottles on either side, and the front of the pack expands quite a bit, I could fit a towel, hoodie, and tons of supplies in there. The straps are so comfy too! I can't wait! Thanks so much for the link! I paid 28.50 including shipping!
Our air mattress was a pain last year so that's why we wanted to try the cots this year.
We had a crappy air mattress for years and we finally invested in a nicer one and its been great but for some reason at Roo last year it kept losing air.
I have an air mattress but I can understand doing a cot instead, and if I found that one you did I would have snatched it up!! No remembering to pack a pump and batteries, no trying to get enough air in and hurry up and plug up... We're doing RV this year but if I wasn't that cot looks awesome.
