Target has a good deal going on this week. Buy two 4 packs of red bull for $6 each and get a $5 gift card back. Net $7 for 8 cans. Hello caffeine. I'm stocking up.
Thanks for posting this one! Stocked up tonight and have the gift cards to go back and get more Roo goodies!
You're welcome. This was a deal I couldn't pass up. I got 16 cans the other day and will use the $10 gift cards to get more. Hello Red Bull/vodka!
Coleman Trailhead II Folding Cot $39.99 (the link pulls up one that is $37 + $14 shipping, but if you look on the right under "more buying choices," you will see one from Amazon for $39.99 + free shipping
Coleman 5010D700T Camp Oven $34.99 Not so much a deal I guess, but a pretty neat idea that I didn't know existed. Baking at camp - who knew?
www.6pm.com has several styles of Sanuks for $30 or less
Good call on the Coleman Xtreme 5-day coolers. I have two of the 50-quart ones and really like them. For longer trips like Roo I can put dry ice, some water ice, and water bottles in one, and I never need to buy any over-priced ice. They are not so big that I can't move them once full, and work great for shorter trips or when I don't want to take as much. 5-day coolers really do keep things cold longer than "regular" coolers. Love or hate Walmart, I think they cut their prices on the Coleman Xtreme line, making their price cheaper than anyone else's and much cheaper than for comparable Igloo coolers. If you have a cooler you like, keep using it, but if you need one, this is what to get and where to get it.
Ditto on the Sanuks, I am a recent convert. All the recommendations here finally got to me, and the comfort and quality really won me over. Found mine on Amazon for like $30, which was about $20 off I think.

You could use the gift cards you got from buying Red Bull to go back and buy moar red bulz, and get moar giff cardz, lol.
The other day Big Lots had some 4-packs of Pure Kick - Endurance Energy Drink for $1. They're the tubes of powder you add to water, have a ton of caffeine, and taste alright. Probably a close-out on a product that didn't make it so they won't be there for long, but a good choice if you like you're caffeine uncarbonated and with lots of water, which is the best way for hydration. Monster and Rip-it shots are $1 there too, which is good but still four times what the Pure Kick cost.

Another slickdeals.net find:
Amazon has Clif Crunch Bars, (or Peanut Butter), 5 two-bar pouches; 10 bars total for $3.19 - 5% off with Subscribe and Save (can cancel anytime) = $3.03 with free shipping on orders $25+.
It's about $0.60 per 2-bar pouch. Looks like some other flavors may be available for that price.
Clif Bar Deal is dead :-( , but here's another good one:
K-Mart has E-Z Up Sierra II Canopies for $51.99, currently at $72.99 on Amazon.
This is a good deal if you want to avoid having to go shopping and would rather have it shipped to you, but I wanted to remind everyone that Academy has the E-Z Up Sierra II for 49.99. I think that's pretty much their every day price, because every time I've been in the store it's been that price. So if you have an Academy in your area, that might be a good deal for you. They have several different colors - dark red, light red, blue, purple, orange, pink. They also have a gold one online for 49.99 with free shipping - www.academy.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_10051_247721_-1.
Also, I was in D.icks Sporting Goods a couple days ago and they had their Quest brand equivalent of the Sierra II for 49.99. I was there to buy something else, but I talked to the sales guy at length about them and he claims they are basically the same as the Sierra II; he said he used to work at Academy and he has owned both brands, and they are both about the same quality. The Quest 10x10 came in 3 colors - blue, red, and beige. Oh, I also found out if you go into the store (D.icks Sporting Goods) and ask them to order something for you from their website (like if they don't have it in the store), they will give you free shipping!

me too! I have seriously been wearing mine nonstop, they are fantastic. I usually hate to have "real" shoes on, and wear sandals if I have to wear anything when I'm not at work... but my sanuks are amazingly comfortable and I even forget I have them on sometimes. I have seen the light!
I rarely use headlamps but I have 2 that I got in a similar deal a while back, I think, that seem to be ok for the once a year Roo use pretty much *shrug*
If anyone sees any good deals on Camelbaks, online or in person around the ATL area, let me know!
Also, Gear Revival in ATL is a great place to find some good gear for reasonable prices. I got a brand new North Face rain jacket for $20 last year.
This seems to be popular with us girls. The Camelbak Day Star. I'm not sure if it's any cheaper anywhere else (or if it could be with a store coupon or something)...but after searching a few minutes just now, I found it for a decent price at Campmor: www.campmor.com/outdoor/gear/Product___67864 $29.97 + $6.99 shipping (or free if you have over $50 in your cart). Hope that helps!
Have you ever used these headlamps? Seems like one of those "too good to be true" deals. Like that free-standing hammock for $50.
Those are the ones I use. They are bulky but work very well. The light tilts so you can aim it where you need it. I think only 1 of like 6 broke last year.

Because I can't figure out where else to put this. Spirit Halloween is having their halfway to Halloween sale with items 50-75 percent off. For those of you who like to dress up and keep the rest of us entertained

Well, my EZ Up died on me this weekend (I knew it was close but thought it could make it through the MLS Season and Roo but it didnt. So, if anyone sees any deals on EZ Ups, please post!
Turtles are, actually quite sexy, if you think about it. I’m getting an erection just thinking about turtles. No, not a stripper named turtles, that’s not funny. Actual turtles.

I'm likely not heading to Bonnaroo this year (ughhhh), but I'm interested in picking up a pop-up hammock and a single person tent (one of those narrow ones) for the summer and future Bonnaroos if anyone sees any on any deal sites.
Better that it died this weekend than at Roo. There was an EZ Up that died in Camp Inforoo last year that almost caused a problem.
Yeah, it still died in a parking lot at a sporting event. I had to leave it there because it wouldnt fold down and then two of the bars snapped. It made it 5 years with probably over 100 games and a few music festivals so I got my money out of it.
