Great deal on D batteries, Ingles (at least my local one) has Rayovac 2-pack alkaline (not the crapo "heavy duty" Zn-Cl cells) D-batts for $1, discounted from ~$3.50. The shelf tag says 10 for $10 but each individual pack rings up for $1. If you're near an Ingles, stock up for the camping lanterns, fans, etc. Good until June 1.
Me too! I have bought 15 packs of D & AA batteries at Ingles so far over these past two weeks.

I work at Kmart and we've got some killer deals on canopies right now. The 10 inch (I think) O2 Cool battery operated fans went on sale for $20 a few weeks ago but I imagine they'll go on sale again soon.

Mine was delivered today! I set it up immediately and was impressed with the sturdy construction. My no-name canopy is decent, but this name brand E-Z Up really blows it away! Strongly built, tough top, easy to setup, nice bag, and seems like it would do great in most conditions. Now I understand the loyal following behind E-Z Ups. At $50 + $3 shipping (now up to $8 shipping), it was a real bargain. My first purchase from Academy, and I will look to them again next time I need something. Bonus: they have colors other than blue.

Academy was awesome to buy from. I ordered my EZ-UPs on Memorial Day evening and they arrived on Friday afternoon. They were in perfect condition. Moral of the story: act now and you'll get them in plenty of time for 'Roo.
SunnySports.com has 3 CamelBak's on sale with 100oz reservoir's. They ship fast - 2 day UPS for free since it's >$55. The colors aren't (or are) the greatest depending on your perspective. My buddy picked up that bright green highwire 20, so when he gets lost we'll be able to find him basically from space.
I was at my local Wally tonight and they have the O2 Cool Squeeze Breeze misting fans on sale for $4.50. Online link below but you have to find them in stores - they were with the other fans in the "heating/cooling" section of my Walmart.
