Mine came in a lovely lime green and with a soft carrying case, which will be great for purposes of cramming my Saturn Ion chock full of crap and not breaking it. There is a rechargeable cartridge you can charge up at home, and then it runs off 4 D batteries. It also has four different settings. I'm pretty excited since a reliable lantern has somehow fallen to the end of our priority-list on the Roo budget every year and we've been using a mismash of crappy flashlights and smaller crank/solar lanterns that result in lots of tent fumbling.

Ditto on the lantern - it is nice to have a good one, especially if you've been frustrated by crappy ones (like the ones I've had) and relying on flashlights.
That Coleman is nice, I think a friend has the same one. As an alternative, I was given this one as a gift last year... two weeks after Roo, of course. So I didn't have it there, but I've used it several times and am very happy with it, and still on the original batteries. It's compact, very bright, and is easy on batteries. This is very similar to the highly popular Rayovac model and several other brands that seem to differ only cosmetically. Currently $18.50 and Prime eligible, if you are an Amazon junkie. The only downside is that the bottom cover for the battery compartment is really, really poorly designed, and can take a few tries to put back on before you figure it out, but that's it.
Dick's sporting goods has an online offer for $10 off $50 today only +free shipping on orders over $25. I just ordered myself an air mattress. YAY, no more sleeping on the uneven ground. Not sure how I made it so long without one.
Camp Saver.com has a huge warehouse sale going on. Just started looking but wanted to let y'all know that they've got a bunch of Sanuk's for half price.

Very nice Always wanted to try out a pair of Sanuk's after all the praise they get here. But they only offer up to size 13 Usually the giant sizes are the ones that go to the outlet stores, was thinking I was going to score! Might just bite the bullet and pick up a pair full price from Sanuk at some point though.

UGH. Placed an order for 7 Sanuks for $126. They offered PayPal, so I didn't have to go out to my car for the purse. PayPal confirmed the money was taken out, but the website theeeennnn said that 5 of the 7 were unavailable?!?!? I called. They'll call me back before the end of the day if there's an issue. I am just confused. Not sure if I will end up with all, or none, or if I am getting money back or what... They said it's a known issue with their site that they've been dealing with.

Wow, they should be paying you commission on all we buy! Great find, they have some nice deals.
I'm about to buy my second pair of Sanuks, just have to choose between Pick Pockets or Vagabonds.
I purchased a doublenest hammock from www.eaglesnestoutfittersinc.com. It wasn't cheap but amazon has discount options...I am looking forward to spending more time in centeroo this year and thinking that it will be a nice place to chillout, if I can find a shady spot to swing.

Very nice, I still love my ENO. I bring it every year, but also bring a hammock stand to set it up at camp. I got this stand. It's big and heavy, but I needed that for my fat/tall ass. It's a sturdy, quality stand. You can also make something fairly easy, I just needed something more robust.
Always wanted to bring it into Centeroo, but never really found that great a place to set it up. I see people put them in between the poles at tents, but it never seems they're there for long. I imagine security makes them take it down.
Yeah, I wish we could bring our hammock for Centeroo but there aren't enough trees. Electric Forest, on the other hand... tons of trees and TONS of hammocks.
I wonder if the trees near POD 7 or edge of the POD 1 camping area get more hammock action. Also, I hear those areas can be full of ticks, so if you do manage to find a tree spot at Roo, be aware of that.
