Don't know the numbers, but the Superjam from 07 was completely overflowing... people were packed for about 10 or so yards outside of the tent. And then there were still people (like me) sitting on the top of the hill, right there.
Yea that Superjam was nuts, I had to bolt cause the sound was terrible from where I was. I couldn't get anywhere to see a damn thing, nor hear anything other than ?uestlove's drumming. I went and saw a ridiculous SCI set, then raged at Sasha/Digweed

Yeah that thing was PACKED....I got there a little early but was way outside the tent and it was just to much to bear not being able to hear.....

An Omar set would be sweet also, Old Money is way better than Bedlam imo. I think I rather see Pridgen in a superjam though, he is better in terms of skill, which i think translates well into a superjam type thing.
Edit: Good to see they have a rhythm guitarist on this tour. Didn't they tour without one at one point before? I still am waiting to see the boys from Umphrey's on guitar for a superjam, or at least Jake. Also great to see they still open with A Fistful of Dollars, so perfect.

that's paul from atdi. i think he has been playing with tmv for a while now. since he left sparta.
i saw them in columbus, and after the show i asked cedric if they could play shows in tennessee so i wouldn't have to drive to shows in different states, and he told me that it was hard to find a good venue and stage to fit all of them and their equipment.
and my sister told him that they should play bonnaroo again, and i believe he said hopefully, we'd love to.

I saw The Mars Volta open for RHCP at the Shottenstein (sic?) Center in Columbus, Ohio and the venue and sound was awful. I do not think that it was the fault of The Mars Volta, rather I attribute it to my awful seats (the worst I've ever had for a concert) and the venue. It seemed like they had 20 people up on stage. I love The Mars Volta on c.d., but they sounded awful that night. I imagine that I would thoroughly enjoy seeing The Mars Volta at Bonnaroo as I would be able to be closer to the stage, could dance, and that sound would be much, much better at Bonnaroo. Ideally I would love to see The Mars Volta perform during a rainstorm. I'm crossing my fingers and hoping that this is a true rumor.
