thanks sassbox....squeaky clean b-room sounds good to me!
im sorry if i am sounding naive with this one (i guess i am). where exactly are the vip bleachers? and does anyone know the how many VIPs there actually are?
I am unexpectedly going VIP with my uncle this year; bleachers are on the which and what stages I believe and they are on the side so you dont have to worry about weather or standing
If you're facing the stages, the bleachers are behind you and to the right of the What and Which stages, both set on an angle. The What stage also had a large hill/mound towards the front left (again, those positions are when you're facing the stages).

oh, i was under the impression that the balcony viewing area on the what stage was for VIP? there are just a couple of shows in particular that i want to be really close for so im trying to plan everything out.
The catwalks on the stages are not for VIP. If you want to be close, your best bet is to get there early (for example, people who wanted to be in the pit for Pearl Jam last year were at that stage pretty much all day). They empty out the pit at the end of every set, then let in folks who are standing in line.

ok cool, yea i was wondering about the catwalks. I was one of the crazies who waited for PJ for 8 hours last year so I'm up for doing it again. Thanks for all your help.
Anyone have any idea what this is about? I just noticed it on the bonnaroo.com site:
VIP Camping & Shuttle Packages If you are flying to Bonnaroo and want to camp at Bonnaroo VIP-style, this is the package for you.
Purchase your VIP Camping upgrade from Target Sport Adventures, and you will get all the benefits of VIP, including upgraded showers and bathrooms, and we'll include a roundtrip airport shuttle. Parking permits not included.
$525/person
*BOOK NOW*
I'm trying to figure out some options for getting two people from Nashville to Manchester (they can't use the shuttle since they need to pick up VIP wristbands, etc. and they won't have access to a car).
they wont help you out with vip wrist bands if u are vip and taking the shuttle? thats pretty crappy..btw TOTALLY stoked bought our tickets this morning!!!!
I flew in 2006. There was a VIP table at the airport where you got your VIP stuff and then they sent you to a shuttle. There were shuttles that took you straight to the VIP campground if you were doing that. And ones that took you to the VIP hotel if you were doing that. It was very easy.
Hi everyone. I'm going to roo for the second year in a row. I went VIP last year and had one of the best weekends of my life! My wife and I bought tickets again in December, and are counting down the days!!
I'm wondering what some of the changes at the farm will be and how it will affect VIP. The proximity of VIP could mean some cool water related changes (real bathrooms/showers).
My girlfriend is thinking about going back to bonnaroo again but does not want to have to deal with the walk so we are thinking about going VIP this year. I know you go through a different gate to come in and you camp up front plus bleachers. Is it worth the cash and what else do you get?

In my opinion, the proximity is 90% of the reason to go VIP. Going back to camp for a snack, drink, bathroom, etc. is as easy as walking around Centeroo. You're able to get more rest, enjoy more music and have more fun, IMHO.
I found out the VIP Camping & Shuttle package I questioned above is for singles who are flying in. You purchase a general admission ticket, then the package upgrades you to VIP (skirting the "pair" rule on VIP tix) and gets you shuttle service so you don't have to rent a car.

I skipped last year but my girlfriend and I are officially going VIP this year. Our fourth Roo and second VIP experience. Can't wait to kick back/party/jam/chill with all you gnarly folk. I'm thinking of floating my Stephen Colbert cut out with helium baloons as a marker.....I love how Roo has resparked my fondness of the farm!

Why not just purchase GA ticket and the $575 upgrade to VIP camping area instead of getting $1400 VIP ticket?
(I saw someone else as the same question, but I can't find the answer)

Hi all - I went VIP in both 07' and 08'. In 07' I was able to go back to my camp, grab beer for a few shows and head out into Centeroo without a problem. I expected the same last year, but security was pretty tight. Sure I was able to sneak in a beer or two, but not the handful I was able to the year before.
It was great cracking open a beer every few songs during Mule, but last year I didn't have that luxury. Did anyone else find this disappointing and should we expect the security to be tighter with each year?
after doing the rv the last time, me and my girlfriend are doing vip this go around. hoping it helps to harden us up to the unforgiving heat. last time i wound up spending as much time in the rv as possible and missed out on allot of good music.
and vip sounds like the way to go, because i need a damn shower and toilet!!! also being able to swing in and out of camp in a timely matter sounds awesome.
my only concern is, if we dont show up until thursday night/friday morning will we be close enough to the entrance where it will be convenient? i know its a crap shoot, but im just worried that showing up abit late we will have a 15-20 min walk to get into centeroo
