Unless somebody makes a code for it, there's nothing we can do. I haven't seen code for a complete opt out, so this will have to do for the time being.
Dude...I'll make a deal with you....get the proboards "designers"...."developers"....whoever has the absolute "source code" for the blasted site to give me access to the actual "source" for the whole blasted BOARD...NOT just make me write Javascript in headers and footers and I'll give the entire ProBoards a decent search function AND give you guys the option to COMPLETELY opt IN or OUT of karma all you want....(which by the way I can't opt BACK out now that I made a change to my profile that had NOTHING AT ALL to do with my karma... but now it won't let me opt back out for some reason...unless ya'll just really don't like me and have set me for eternal h3ll of opt in just to spite me! )
LOL! Yeah yeah...I know....no chance in H3LL of us getting our hands on Proboards source but...damn! Writing in javascript on VooDoo reminds me why I like straight up REAL programming languages (even JSF and just vanilla Java : Soooo much better!
I think it should be alright. The only thing is that now it seems that people can't opt out of karma since we changed it. Need to see if we can have both codes working at once.
It figures - I opt out of karma - then April Fool's rolls around and I end up with headie points instead (an no way to opt out of them) - had 4 headie points yesterday and now -1 and I have not argued with anyone today - someone stole my headies
When I first joined the Boards, I must've said something wrong, b/c I got smacked to negative 1 - and I thought "Awwww :-C ". And then, a few days later, I must've said soemthing better, b/c I as put back to positive 1 - and I thought "Awwww :-D ".
Hehe...the whole karma/heady/crunchy thing is kinda cute.
