Thanks, but can we keep this organized like last year? I mean have Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and then the bands that are playing that day underneath it? That makes it easier to see who is playing what day. Thanks for starting this thread.

I think they might be taking on the Which Stage this year during the day. The biggest crowd of the weekend at ACL was for them on Saturday afternoon. I'd say 75% of the festival was watching their set

Did you also see half the crowd leave after they had finished playing the last of their three singles? not that i dont love them, but their live show could use some work....
Yeah, I agree that show wasn't one of their most enthusiastic. The Thursday night they played last year was way better. Let's hope they bring it back to the Roo!

MGMT know they aren't amazing live but have taken steps to correct that.
Don't forget this is a band who's debut album just came out and they just had this hype/popularity thrust upon them. I don't expect them to be Moe. or Umphrey's or MMJ.......but in time I feel they could be a great live act. If they stay together that is.
Remember they've been doing this a year or two so far. I like their attitude and can't wait to see what they've got in store this year
MGMT's set on the farm last year was killer. Great light show, great energy etc..... they outplayed plenty of other veteran acts, no need for them to worry about their stage presence yet

I like the story about people scaling the supports at MGMT's concert at the Oxygen Festival in Ireland. Just to think... how many of those people were enjoying the hell out of themselves.

well if tmv and nin were both sat late night i would really think that one would be a 12:30-2:30 and the other a 2:30-4:30.....or something close to that.

This is by no means any kind of confirmation... only a plausible guide. Someone on Phishhook.com was right about the lineup when he posted this on 1/31. People pretend he's "in the know".
The only way to close out the festival is to have Phish do it.
Has anyone ever noticed what my friends and I referred to as "hippy Sunday" - most of the 'hippy' bands play on Sunday - and the Sunday night closer is always the most 'hippy' of the headliners?
