in regards to my mock schedule, as far as additions go, i could see conor oberst, peter bjorn & john, fleet foxes, gaslight anthem, passion pit and cloud cult being added
I was there. Haha. There were maybe 4 rows of people. But I might add it was at a really poopy time. He was like the last tent playing right before WS. Everyone was either at camp gearing up for WS, packing up, leaving, gone, or already at WS. Also, there were some really poopy shows on sunday leading up to his so there wasn't much incentive to hang around Centeroo at that point. It was either get the hell outta roo or go see WS.
that is pretty tough to play for that few people at a huge festival on a big stage. Sunday was pretty dry last year. I surprisingly enjoyed Death Cab, but that was really it.

i would love Conor to get added but i'm pretty sure someone on these boards asked a band member or e-mailed them or something and got the response that they would NOT be at Roo this year. that doesn't mean 100% they can't get added - but it's unlikely.

A lot of people thought Sunday was pretty weak last year, but I thought it was pretty incredible. The Lee Boys and Robert Randolph tore it up in a big way. Robert Randolph with Widespread, just amazing. Those who were there know what I'm talking about. Orchestra Baobab was amazing, though no one was there. Phil Lesh's acoustic set was pure beauty, and Broken Social scene sounded incredible. Derek and Susan's Revival was one of the highlights of the festival.
The mock schedules we've seen for this year's Sunday are nowhere near as deep. But Phish is playing that night, so at least a lot of people will stick around.

i was at the orchestra baobab and BSS shows..they were both awesome. 2 of the better shows last year.

loved phils acoustic set last year, he is such a cool guy
unfortunately (or fortunately) that was all i got to see of phil last year, except for one song on the way to sigur ros and ghostland.
and while, i agree that sunday is weaker, it essentially has to be, because a lot of people leave sunday, and of course there is no late night (though im hoping it will go quite late this year with phish!)
there were still plenty of great shows to see-robert randolph is awesome, yonder mountain, phil/friends, robert plant and allison krauss were really good...i felt like everyone at that show was willing plant to bring zep this year...and of course WSP...who i really am not crazy about, but i dug the jam session with robert randolph, and the cover of lawyers, guns and monery (great cover for Roo)
If we get david byrne>phish...which i think we will...that ALONE is enough to make sunday epic, at least for me

sunday owned last year, and most of the shows were perfect for the mood i was in (tired, but with an afterglow from friday/saturday).
ladytron and robert randolph were totally fun, broken social scene absolutely killed as usual, and by far the most underrated artist at roo '08 - solomon burke - put on a very enjoyable set.
still, i think it's pretty clear we're in for something special on sunday this year.

last year was my first year at bonnaroo so im not real sure about past acts. but from what i understood they usually had a late night dj on the main stage. while this year does seem pretty packed, i guess it could be possible. hes the biggest named electronic act, they could put him on stage that way girl talk could headline a tent, put crystal castles and couple other djs in the tent. that would help break up the crowd some.

This is entirely untrue. DJs have been tent shows for years now. There was a time (somewhere around 2003) where DJs were spinning on the main stage between sets, but never at night.

this is by far the greatest thing i've seen on these boards since the lineup announcement! i've been so stressed about saturday's schedule this whole time that i now know every single band i want to see can logistically be seen on saturday..
rod y gab 12:30-1:30 booker t and dbt 2:15-3:00 govt mule 3:00-3:45 (leave early for good tmv spot) tmv 4:15-5:45 wilco 6:00-7:00 andrew bird 7:00-8:00 bruce somewhat ha (check him out then go rest up for nighttime) ben harper midnight-12:30 (leave early for ok nin spot) nin 1:00-3 (hit my second wind and jam the night away)
too bad this isnt the ACTUAL schedule, but it could be, and that makes me incredibly excited

ok thanks for the info, i most of been told wrong by others then.
I see Snoop as a middle of the day guy. He had like a 4pm slot at Rothbury and the crowd seemed to enjoy it (not me personally, but to each their own). I could see him pulling a similar slot at Roo.

there was something from an interview back awhile ago from somebody from AC/Superfly(might of been ashely capps?) and it was said that NIN would have 'a very special late night time slot' or somethin along that line. most think that means they will get Kanye's time slot from last year.

they didn't say late night
they said "very special time slot". everyone assumed it meant late night

sangrels schedule is the best. I'm hoping that moe conflicts with mgmt, nin, harper, and the superjam so it wont be overly crowded and ill be able to get an awesome spot!
