Perhaps SuperJam is moving back to Sunday. Late night seems too crowded now with probably Ben Harper (judging by MySpace), Mars Volta, MGMT/Yeasayer, and moe. This is by far the best news in awhile. Plus Sunday looks very weak right now, I think SuperJam Sunday makes a lot more sense now.
No i promise sangreal i didnt. If u notice the additions and hopes thread i have said Wailers, Dr. Dog, and CAKE as many times as i can I mean no Marley doesnt mean no Wailers!

The '05 Sunday afternoon SuperJam was one of my favorites. I hope they move it back to Sunday afternoon.

Do we know that TMV, MGMT and Yeasayer are playing late night? And don't forget NIN are also most likely playing late night Saturday as well.

Yeasayer mentioned that they were playing before MGMT in a late night tent, but it was still tentative. and we're all just hoping for TMV late night. no confirmation on either yet.

i dont know why everyone is assuming tmv late night. Their light shows arent thaaaaaaaaaat trippy. They have the dream machine that they use at like intermission points (even though someone stays out to play ambient noise), but I cannt imagine that small rotating thing taking care of over 20,000 people. They are so great live because Cedric freaks out and omar does a little too. and then theodore, now pridgeon are mad men. And its just mesmerizing to watch 10 people work together to make one. Point is, I wouldnt be surprised if they got a day time slot.

i think mars volta would fit perfectly around 6:30 or 7 on the which stage

sangreal - where are you posting your mock schedule? Is it somewhere upthread?
I definitely see Snoop non-Friday at this point. Which and What are just too packed on Friday. Some sort of David Byrne-Badu-TVOTR-Animal Collective conflict looms for me.

Nice job sangreal, this looks pretty good. I don't think Galactic will be late night (Sunday afternoon? Is there a confirmed day for them), but I think you are right about the hip-hop late night opposite Phish, whoever ends up being there. I don't see this being relegated to Thursday.
I would probably swap Snoop and Elvis Costello on Saturday. moe will definitley be in This or That (if not Which) for late night (Other is smaller, right?).
For my tastes, Sunday looks a little thin, so I could see more of the unknowns (Snoop, Andrew Bird, Okervil) sliding over to Sunday.
Overall, this looks real possible though. A Byrne-Badu conflict would be just brutal for me, but they both deserve great spots. It looks like however things play out, the Which/What lineup on Friday is going to unprecedentedly mind-blowing.

who's confirmed for latenight so far? femi Kuti, moe., and ben harper have late night listed on their pages. yeasayer claimed they would be playing a latenight tent with mgmt after springsteen. any others?
edit: phish obviously
speculative latenight list:
phish femi kuti moe. ben harper and relentless7 yeasayer mgmt

you can also bet that oakenfold, girl talk and a hip hop tent will be late night. and possbily a super jam. not too many spots left.

i'm thinking they'll move super jam back to a day slot. hopefully anyway. with the three you just mentioned (plus possibly NIN and TMV) there are just way too many acts. I could also see of montreal sharing the yeasayer/mgmt tent possibly.

i'm beginning to think that maybe yesayer was wrong about it being a late night. maybe mgmt is headlining a tent and yeasayer plays before them. because sat. is looking way too packed.

well they did say it was after springsteen.....so it should be a late night. but they coulda been mistaken - or it could always change last minute.
