Well I guess 2 months away is a good time to start preparing our costumes for the Masquerade Ball which I would recommend to anyone who has never been to it at the Roo. For anyone who is not familiar or has never heard of the Masquerade Ball it is basically a costume party on Saturday night right around or a little after the Superjam that will feature various artists from different bands getting together in costumes themselves (you wont know who they are) and just jam for a couple hours. I do not believe costumes are required but I would say 90 % of the people last year had them and it just makes it much more fun, So where a costume!!
Correction: I just read my 05' schedule and on the list of activities under the heading "Masquerade Ball" it did say "Costumes Required"
So what is everyones ideas thus far for YOUR costume???

I'm leanin' towards your basic $2 cheapie domino mask. Was going to go for a $30+ leather number I found on Ebay, but then I sobered up... maybe next year...
i remember last year, it was about 5-6amish on sunday morning, we were camped right on the end of shakedown against the fence facing bushy branch rd, and droves of people started funneling back to the camp sites out in bfe. I saw 3 people i beleive, all in homeade costumes, one was master shake the other was bender and the third was another character i cant recall at the moment, easily the coolest costumes i saw last year/
Maybe I'll throw myself to the dogs, but my back's not to the wall Maybe I'll lay some bricks for the man, but the days just aren't that long So if I settle back and chill will I see far enough to feel the angel's dream? I thought it was the Story of the World!
I spent way too my money on my little red riding hood costume this year to only wear it once...so if you see little red riding hood at the masquerade ball, that's probably me...

Oh score costumes... now question... the superjam usually occurs pretty late yeah? (ok i lied several questions)... so has it cooled off enough to wear a gorilla suit... or any other costume that might involve a full body suit?
as of right now myself and my freind dave are going to go as pirates. Maybe not just to the ball but for all of roo. We are tying to get more of our freinds to do it too. we need a brigade of pirates for roo!!

As a random thought, you guys should get some of those big tie-on buttcheeks and you could go as butt pirates. It was the first thing that popped in my head when I read your post...no offense intended.

My friend and I have been discussing costumes. We really wanna have a couple so that we can have one for the masquerade ball and then one to wear while we walk around all day at Centeroo. We were thinking of going as Batman and Robin and just dashing around Centeroo doing good deeds for random people.

I usually bring one of a few luchador masks i own. You can get them on ebay, and they are dirt cheap. Think Nacho Libre, but with unlimited art on the mask. They are tight fitting, which is nice to dance with. And the ears, nose, mouth, are all out in the open.

my friend and i picked up a furby custome at goodwill to wear to vegoose last year, but it ended up staying at the hotel. perhaps the furby will be used this summer, instead. =)
I'm gonna use my Halloween costume I thought of this year. I dress up like a French guy and then go around tickling people. I'm a French tickler. So if you're at the masquerade ball and a French guy comes up and starts tickling you, that's me.
