^^ my boyfriend got to go to a game as well and when he brought back pics to show me it looks like he sat in the same area that you did. He said he was right by the student section.

^^ OMG that's the same game my boyfriend went to!!! That's pretty awEsome. But he said pretty much the same thing about the game... he was like 'my first Auburn game ever and they LOSE!' i felt bad for him. it's like going to see your favorite band play and the lead singer has some sort of accident on stage and the rest of the concert is canceled.
Here is my last home game I attended in 2008. Can't afford season tix unfortunately. But catch the occassional tix I can get as it comes along so I can keep up with what is going on with the campus as it goes through changes since I was there a while back....even for alums it is too expensive to get regular season tix in the SEC.... LOL! Even at Vandy!
LOL! Ditto Dude! I was raised a Crimson Tide fan and am not sure my parents have completely forgiven me for going to Auburn (and having my little brother trail after me there! ) It was only safe to do so AFTER The Bear's passing of course.....got to give the time and respect ya know. If it's in the SEC....it can't be bad! Just a different flavor of good! ;D

Ok need some help here from my the good people of Alabama...
This year I will be coming to the Roo from Birmingham (Alibaster I believe is the actual town. My buddy lives there) so I am wondering what is the best way/time to leave to get to the Roo? Usually i come from Ky. so this is why I am counting on the die-hard Alabama faithful to come through...

I-24 North to Chattanooga, I-59 North to Manchester. 3 hours. Not a bad drive, and very pretty around the GA/TN line. And it's cool passing all of the people on the same route that you can tell are going to Bonnaroo. We ended up passing the same people several times and stopping at the same Wal-Mart and gas station, which was pretty cool. Someone may know a "better" way with backroads, but I've only missed one Bonnaroo and always go this way.

you can leave b'ham on highway 79...take it all the way through Guntersville, Scottsboro etc....it spits you out in S. Pittsburg TN. From there you can get on I-24 West, drive like 45 mins and be in line in no time.

I'm from the Birmingham ( Pell City ) area, but will be making the journey from Dothan this year. Probably go home first. Anyone else coming from Dothan?
i'll be leaving from the huntsville area (ardmore to be specific) eeeeeaaaarrrrlllyyyy thursday morning. last year, i was coming from nashville, so now i'm wondering what's the best route?
I'll be heading up to Roo from Huntsville mid morning Thursday!!! There's no guarantees you won't have to wait, but we cut up 231 to 64 through tullahoma, take a left and you pretty much cut right in front of the traffic!! there's another way in, but it's too many turns for me to remember! good luck and hope we all get close camping spots!
I need a ride back to the general area of Birmingham. If anyone is heading that way and has room for an extra person, hit me up! I'll be travelling light, I'm backpacking in and out of there. Thanks.
