But seriously, that's a fantastic plan. I try to do the same thing - but now I will think of it as a 'game', instead of a 'plan' and maybe i'll drink even more. hmmm, what should my prize be if I get through 3 bottles.... 2 less minutes on the daily run!
haha! Apparently, I am saying many sig worthy lines lately.
But yes, call it a game and give yourself a reward, why not?? Maybe that's our motto.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

Whenever I see your name I hear Sgt. Foley from An Officer and a Gentleman... "Mayo-naise!"
I put on one of my favorite dresses this morning and I think it's officially too big (when I started it was a tad snug). I need to put my favorite outfits in heavy rotation over the next month or so, because I don't think I can keep wearing them for long. The bad side of losing weight! Oh dresses... I'll miss you.

^ GET THEE TO AN ALTERATION SHOP!!! Srsly, why toss 'em out when you can have 'em taken in?
I thought of that, but I am not sure if they are worth it..? Most of my dresses and such are of decent quality, but I picked up for 20-30 bucks at Marshalls.

Another option is to go to a local theater and see if any of the cutter drapers would do it. Might be cheaper than going to a shop. Especially if you have a university close.
That's a good idea Chico! I actually work at a college (but a small one). The question now is do I have the drive and the cojones to ask around about it??

Girl please. You should NEVER need cojones to say, "I just lost an ass of weight and I look so fabulous now that I need these taken in." then flash your pretty smile and bat your lashes. Own that poop. Also, I find that paying $5 to dart a dress Im shrinking into and that I love is way more satisfying than buying a new one for $50+. Because then you get to see yourself in it in a whole new SKINNY light!!
Finally - I have lost inches inches inches since I started bootcamp - and if you want to see results when you arent necessarily dropping LBs, I recommend measuring yourself once a month. It's super encouraging.

Have you ever been around the ladies in a costume shop? They are the bomb!! They're wild and crazy and you'll absolutely love them! Some of my best friends from college are costumers.
And Mayo is right. I had read that measuring hip to stomach ratio for guys is a much better indicator of health than monitoring your weight.
And chico is right, guys typically come in a much wider range of body sizes. BMI is the best indicator, but it is grossly inaccurate depending on how you use it. Keep monitoring lbs, but hip to waist and waist to shoulder are good indicators if you feel that the lbs aren't telling the whole story.
Remember that diet will only take off lbs, but that you should be building muscle through exercises, which is actually much heavier than fat!

We have under 2,500 undergrad. I doubt we have ladies who have specific costume jobs! But they sound awesome

My trainer saw me working out this morning and told me I was looking fit. From a guy that was playing division I basketball and regularly works me until I'm close to spewing, I'll take it!

This new job, while gratifying in a spiritual AND a monetary sense, has made my AZZ grow like a cabbage patch. I'm a pro at fitness and such. Just cant get my groove back. Poopaloop.
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.
LLL, check in here more often! We are motivating each other, so find your motivation!
Chico and wlviking, things are looking good for you! St Pattys Day parade is today... Lots of drinking and bad food for me... oh well. Not every day can be a good day!

I've been using My Fitness Pal for the last 7 weeks and have dropped 14 pounds despite having quit smoking one week in. It's been great for keeping track of what I'm eating and doing and holding myself accountable for my decisions regarding my health. You don't have to use the site just to lose weight, you can use it to track your intake of sodium, sugar, protein, etc. If there's anyone here who is currently using My Fitness Pal or is interested in it send me a pm and I'll send you the link to my profile. They have message boards (which are a joke) and groups for support. Maybe we can get an Roo group started on MFP if there's enough interest?

Biking tomorrow! I should have gone today but I have been super lazy!
Starting Monday, I plan on going on somewhat of a diet. No beer. No bread. No sugars. And trying as much as possible to stick to a "no processed" meal plan. I'm still a sucker for processed yogurt, even if its light.
Speaking of no beer, anyone know what the best or lowest calorie liquor you can drink? I was thinking maybe diet coke/rum on the weekends when I'm needing a little relaxing buzz.

All liquor has relatively the same amount of calories, since they come mostly from the 80 proof alcohol. That being said, a shot still is les than half the calories of a light beer, and is roughly on par with the ultra lights.
I drink bourbon on the rocks or gin on the rocks, but if you are going to mix, soda water has zero calories or do a rum and coke zero.
As I said above, I won't give up drinking because like the diet and excercise, it is all pre-roo training.

When I am "trying" to not drink wine... I drink Bacardi and Diet Coke (or coke zero). It works for me and is way less calories than wine or beer. My problem is that when I drink I also want to snack, so I really just need to quit drinking, but that just isn't going to happen

What is good for alcohol is water and crystal light then mix it with some vodka. Vodka waters cut down on the calories. I'm with you with the munchies but you can always fit it into your diet if you try not to eat so much during the day.
Woke up this morning and can see a difference after 1 day of low carb eating. Made 3 more eggs with some low-fat/cal cheese and it was more filling today than yesterday.
I'm taking a break from the weed this week and see how it effects my body.

Hey guys! I have some getting in shape to do for 'roo this year. I've had to lay on a couch since January 13th due to a tib/fib fracture and dislocated ankle. I'm just now starting to walk again with a steel rod reinfoced leg! I have definently gained some weight and fat because of all of this. I use to run very frequently and work out. I was wrestling in college until this happened. I will be visiting here often now for some motivation! My calf is so tiny now! When I once ran 7 miles everyday. Planning on running to the gym and working out every day once I am able...which is hopefully soon!

This was one of my worst weekends health wise since I started watching what I eat. Lots of booze, lots of bad food, too little sleep. Oh well. New week! Let's go!
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
On my first rest week of p90 starting today. I too really lacked this weekend in the dieting part, i need to lay off some no no word in order to get control of the munchies, i can tell that is what gets me in to trouble. I really just need to tell myself that when i am hungry in that state i just want water instead.
Anyway, sort of getting back to what i looked like pre-broken elbow, which is encouraging. just feel like crap today after the amount of lazyness endured over the weekend. Hope everyone else is doing well on their respective routines because i slightly failed:(
I didn't work out this weekend, and ate badly. To be fair, I had a good excuse with the birth of my daughter, but back to work tomorrow for me! After missing 3 days of badness, I can feel myself slipping.
