I've heard of this strange method called a "dashboard burrito", maybe it was mentioned somewhere in the forum, but i asked my uncle about them and he said he swore by them at Clifford Ball in '96. I wasn't sure to believe him. Anywho supposedly you take a frozen burrito, put it in a plastic bag, and put it on your dashboard so the next morning the steam in the bag from the heat in your car (and the sun) cooks it through...just sounds kind of sketchy to me, though.
If you want something really easy (and vegan if you use olive oil) to store dry and warm and cook without much prep, try spicing some cous cous ahead of time, stashing it in a bag, and bring some garlic, onions, and canned chick peas.
Saute the veggies in EVOO or butter, add the peas, stir, add cuscus, stir, then add water until the couscous is done.
Very simple and shareable. I will likely making lots of this and some home-made oatmeal for my friends and neighbors.

Sounds like a really bad way to die to me. Just screams food poisoning and diarrhea.
