It doesn't seem as though talking too much has been frowned upon in this thread.
It's not the amount of talking as much as what I would say that would get me whacked, but screw it. I'm gonna spill.
I think that Kdogg and HGH are the two remaining mafia. They have aligned themselves well throughout the game. HGH, at the very beginning of the game voted along with Kdogg stating that it was because he was a very god player. She has no idea if he is mafia or not. So why would she vote along with him.
Kdogg effluviates too much. His theories are vapid and have led people to vote off likely innocent players. You think I've been trying to confuse people? Obviously I have, but only about my own identity. A good offense is a god defense. People who come out of the gate pointing fingers are likely guilty.
HGH and Kdogg have also posted the most. Often a trait of people who have something to hide.
If you are innocent, and you thought this, then why did you vote for me, putting us in this situation to start with?
HGH and Kdogg also posted yesterday at 3 something within 3 minutes of each other, then they didn't write the rest of the night. It is unlike them not too write, I think they were scouting their target.
It is all so obvious.
I started work at 3pm yesterday (and will today as well). Inforoo time is one hour behind my Central time. You're trying to say I made a post on Inforoo at 3pm Info time/4pm my time - when I was internetless at work?

There's a difference between the Mafia whacking someone they didn't vote for, and the Mafia whacking one of their own. They are not one and the same. I think you're overlooking that.
I said Mafia is hgh kdogg nbf. The mafia didn't whack any of them.
This is just a thought-- but, If we are assuming that the Inspector is still alive, wouldn't it be smart not to call that person out? We know the mafia will take them out asap.

I have to admit, her lauding me made me think she was suspicious at the start... that was before I saw the Inspector intervening in her reciprocal voting. After that point, I've been presuming her innocent.

I know we've both introduced confusion into the game. We've done it differently.
I feel I've introduced confusion into the game simply by being wrong when I had good intentions. I've based my votes on the comments and voting data available; I go after whoever seems guiltiest at the time.
You introduce an entirely different confusion to the game. You don't seem to care about going after who's guilty; you act like you're only out for self-preservation. I understand why you want to stay alive. What I don't get it your apparent disinterest in finding out who's guilty.

I intended that to be more of a rhetorical question than a plea for an answer.
I just pointed it out because even when I looked at it the way Fishing wanted, I'm still missing pieces of the puzzle.
Maybe I should have said 4 o'clock..
It's not like Handgun & I swooped into the thread at the same time and left. I was here all morning and the early afternoon hours yesterday, and I've got 2-3 pages of discussion to prove it. It's not like this was some coordinated effort to be here at the same time. I was already here, and just responding to yet another post. It's not like Handgun is the only person I responded to while I was here yesterday.
I am not saying she was, it is just ironic that everyone voted NBF and you and HGH voted fishing. There is only 3 mafia and 3 people voted fishing so far. Just an observation.
Below is exactly my point. The votes speak for them self.

If you're proceeding on this theory, how do you explain the votes in the first runoff?

I voted for you because I thought you were mafia. I still do. I came up with this theory this morning looking over the thread.
That and to save my own ass. If I didn't vote for you I'd be dead.

Yeah, never mind . . . I was still thinking on the presumption that Tara was mafia, but I guess you don't believe that anymore if you think it's me, kdogg, and hgh.
That and to save my own ass. If I didn't vote for you I'd be dead.
I hate to agree with what kdogg has been saying since everyone thinks we are working together, but that's the problem, you've been more interested in looking out for yourself than in looking out for the townspeople as a whole. You keep talking about how you've not pointed any fingers at people, but (assuming you are innocent) if you had worked out a theory before hand and explained it, maybe we could be voting off a mafia member this round.
I will be back in a moment with something unprecedented.
Yes, you can change your vote now because you see it isn't going to save nbf anyways. WOW this is so easy to read.
And by unprecedented, do you mean short post?
I said it to fishingmaniac earlier today, and I'll say it again. I don't think anything in this game has been clear or easy to read, and I'm suspicious of anyone who says that it is.
That and to save my own ass. If I didn't vote for you I'd be dead.

1. I didn't have the theory before I explained it.
2. I am the only one who can save the towns people.
I would now like to play the Ace I've had up my sleeve to conclusively prove my innocence.
I don't think anyone has tried this before, but I know there is no specific rule prohibiting players from quoting correspondence with the Referee.
I know that six of you (plus myself) are/were Townspeople. I don't know how many of you remain, but I know you most likely got this exact same message in your Inbox at the beginning of the game. You Townspeople should recognize this, and if you don't the proof should be sitting in your Inbox to reference.

Welcome to the game!
You are a townsperon. Please read and review the rules in the Mafia 14 thread.
If you have any questions, please feel free to PM me!

I received this at 8:57pm on March 13th. Your times may be slightly different, but near there, because Inforoo only lets you make so many posts in a certain amount of time. I learned that last game when I was Ref, and received error messages.
I know Bek sent these out en masse, because she said in the message to read and review the rules. I wrote some of these rules and I've reffed games, so I know this wasn't tailored specifically for me.
I'm 99% sure that my six fellow Townspeople received this identical message - misspelled "townsperson" and all. I think we seven Townspeople all had this spelling error in our message, and I know some of you still have to be alive to double-check this with the role message you received. (Townspeople: it might be dangerous to flatly state your role in the wake of this. Be wary.)
I would also like to note, since I've now revealed this, that anyone attempting to duplicate this could easily copy it and should not be believed.
I think this Ace I've had up my sleeve should be enough to conclusively prove my innocence to the surviving Townspeople.
Now that I've hopefully convinced some of you of my innocence once and for all, think about the ensuing consequences. Think about it in terms of the validity of what I have said, how I have voted, and the theories I have put forth. Think about it when other players wrongly accuses me of being Mafia - I think they're the ones to watch.
We should have a rule about this in the future. Right now, though, I'm perfectly okay with exploiting a loophole in the rules if it can discredit the false accusations against me.
Even if I knew you were innocent, after that last post, you'd still suffer the same fate as the rat in the video.
The fact that you said "if" tells me you are most likely not a Townsperson. A Townsperson should be able to confirm what I say with a greater degree of certainty than "if."

My point is hiding in a loophole is a pussy move. I don't want to win the game like that even if you are a townsperson. Anyone who resorts to that deserves to lose. Especially one who quotes the rule-book every page.
I think it's obvious that I wouldn't have known about Bek's spelling error if I hadn't received her message containing it. You guys, on the other hand, are just making up those quotes.
I know that there is definitely someone still alive who can confirm the content of that message in their Inbox, and I would much appreciate it if they did so.

None of the Townspeople complained when they won Game 12, and that violated a specific rule.
I quote the rule book every page? Really? I did that a lot, in Game 12, when I was Mafia. Find me one instance in this game where I've quoted ANY rule...
Kdogg- Please don't have another runoff. Why would we need one?
The rules state that run-offs come in the event of a tie vote. I'm not even the Referee, so I wouldn't be conducting any further run-offs. I'm against another run-off, myself.
What I was saying was that, once Tara had 6-7 votes, the Mafia wouldn't have been able to prevent Tara's death. I said it was their best-case scenario, because at the time they could have caused a 6-6-1 tie. That would have led to another run-off, which would have kept Tara alive longer.
I find it incredibly telling that Rooconteur's still gunning for me, perhaps even more so now, now I've given someone out there conclusive proof of my innocence.
It looks to me like he'd rather kill an innocent than admit he was wrong. Maybe he just wants to kill innocents, period?
