I assure you, I'm innocent. I'm not playing anybody I don't think is innocent here.
Notice that I was focusing on Kelaroo & RonBurgandy?, two players I know to be innocent.
I can't reason with you or Rooconteur using evidence, because you - and probably him - are mobbed up. Actually looking at the evidence does you no favor.
Day Four is going to be quick, because I think we've completed the puzzle. This round is just such a bitch because putting the pieces together can be a slow and painful process. I think this round we've learned all that we need to know to ensure a Townsperson victory.
Well Bek stated last night that as soon as she received a death story voting was closed and we would have a death. And the next post was from Roo saying he sent one. So, if she sticks by her word HGH is dead and you just wasted a lot of time.
The Referee never officially closed voting. Voting remained open, as I pointed out. When voting is open, votes may be changed - and they were. She can't finalize that tally anymore, anyhow. That tally doesn't reflect the voting - which is still open - as it currently stands. Voting is not closed until the Referee says it is - and the Referee never said voting was closed.
I don't see how that's wasting time, seeing as the Ref hasn't actually returned to the thread yet. I was taking advantage of time that was already there in her absentia.
I'm going to hand it to you Mafia. You've been formidable opponents... but you're going down.
voting is still open and remain open until I receive a death story. apparantly mine aren't good enough. although I must say that I don't see what it would matter if we waited on fishingmaniac because he voted for rooconteur. if he changed his vote to higgi, the vote would still be 4:3.
so yeah, when i get a story, you all will get a death.
Since then... Fishingmaniac changed vote to Higgi. RonBurgandy? changed vote to Higgi.
Any responsible Referee can't say that voting remains open, and then not respect changes made in the interim between log-ins. If voting remains open and I nullify my vote, voting cannot be closed until I vote. That leaves the door open for further debate, which is exactly what I did.
I would now like to play the Ace I've had up my sleeve to conclusively prove my innocence.
I don't think anyone has tried this before, but I know there is no specific rule prohibiting players from quoting correspondence with the Referee.
I know that six of you (plus myself) are/were Townspeople. I don't know how many of you remain, but I know you most likely got this exact same message in your Inbox at the beginning of the game. You Townspeople should recognize this, and if you don't the proof should be sitting in your Inbox to reference.

I received this at 8:57pm on March 13th. Your times may be slightly different, but near there, because Inforoo only lets you make so many posts in a certain amount of time. I learned that last game when I was Ref, and received error messages.
I know Bek sent these out en masse, because she said in the message to read and review the rules. I wrote some of these rules and I've reffed games, so I know this wasn't tailored specifically for me.
I'm 99% sure that my six fellow Townspeople received this identical message - misspelled "townsperson" and all. I think we seven Townspeople all had this spelling error in our message, and I know some of you still have to be alive to double-check this with the role message you received. (Townspeople: it might be dangerous to flatly state your role in the wake of this. Be wary.)
I would also like to note, since I've now revealed this, that anyone attempting to duplicate this could easily copy it and should not be believed.
I think this Ace I've had up my sleeve should be enough to conclusively prove my innocence to the surviving Townspeople.
Now that I've hopefully convinced some of you of my innocence once and for all, think about the ensuing consequences. Think about it in terms of the validity of what I have said, how I have voted, and the theories I have put forth. Think about it when other players wrongly accuses me of being Mafia - I think they're the ones to watch.
We should have a rule about this in the future. Right now, though, I'm perfectly okay with exploiting a loophole in the rules if it can discredit the false accusations against me.
March 13 @ 20:07 I received this PM naming my role.
Welcome to the game!

Thanks for playing! -super
Take note of this for all of you voting me.. As I mentioned before I don't believe this should be used as a valid piece of evidence but since Kdogg did it and has also turned you all against me you should probably see it, because you are killing an innocent.
don't even start with me either, because this is 100% original, quoted directly from my PM box.
EDIT- Ron? I hope you realize your mistake now, it's not too late you can still switch your vote back.
So Kdogg, if indeed you are innocent, you should probably nullify your vote again and save me, because I am innocent, on the other hand, in the case that you don't make an effort to save me I will understand, because I do believe you are mafia.
so I used Kdogg's own 'loophole' in the rules, so the innocent left can see this, if he doesn't make an attempt to keep me alive, kill him next round when I am gone, because he is dirty.
It's one thing to point out a mis-spelling nobody would know about except Townspeople.
It's another thing to correct that mis-spelling after it's seen the light of day, once everybody already knows there was a typo, and claim it as proof of innocence.
I warned you all to be wary about people who try to play the Ace after me. Higgi is simply throwing a desperate Hail Mary pass here.
I knew playing the Ace would render future attempts suspect. That typo, and the fact that there even WAS a typo, wasn't common knowledge until I posted it. Now that it's common knowledge, anyone could simply correct that lone typo and claim innocence - it's as simple as adding an S to what I quoted when I first pointed out the typo. I ruined the Ace when I played that - it's only good once. What Higgi just posted is the rule; what I posted about the typo is the exception to the rule.
If an Inspector says someone is Mafia, they're Mafia. Our Inspector said Higgi is Mafia.

My vote stays with Higgi.
you're a flipping moron, I said that it was 100% original and non-tampered with. I will give anyone who want's to know the truth my login information and you can see for yourself. Then you can at least see I am telling the truth and you can kill kdogg off next round.
damnnnitt, my innocence was a password change away
Clearly I am desperate, I need one of you innocent folks to take your vote off of me, I can ensure you it is the right decision. Guarantee it is the right decision.
