But if you'll look back at my Day One theory this game, I did have the situation (Mafia capitalizing on the HGH/Tara reciprocal voting) right - I just had the roles reversed.

beats...just wait for your assignment and go from there. it can get complicated to try and explain the game otherwise. just remember that if you are anything other than a townsperson, you should probably consult with the ref via PM with any questions just to insure none of the secrets are leaked
We need to institute a definite, actionable deadline on voting/participation. We have absentee player issues just about every game, and most of our Refs have had to deal with it on a case-by-case basis as it arises. It's gone on too long without any enforcement mechanism in place before the fact.
I think there should be a set window of time, and once that window expires voting is closed - unless the Ref feels viable debate is still in progress. I'm not sure how that would affect players who are AWOL multiple rounds... that's not as likely, but there should also be a prescribed course of action for that.
We also need a rule prohibiting the posting of role PMs, or perhaps communications with the Referee in general. I'm definitely for the former, but kind of against the latter. Everyone's thoughts on this rule?

At least not when you're asking questions in public. Direct those questions to the Referee; or if you're Mafia, your fellow Mafia are okay to ask because Mafia can talk to each other outside the thread.
