However, just the fact you voice your opinions strongly gives you more credibility in the early rounds than those who are keeping their mouth shut.
just because you are quiet in the first round doesn't mean that you are guilty. It's just another side of strategy. If you keep quiet and somehow avoid the mafia you can draw your own conclusions. I think sadie is a very good example because she was quiet last game and ended up winning the game for the townspeople.
I think we made a better choice by keeping handgun this round although I am not totally convinced that either candidate to be mafia. I think the fact that hips got so defensive could def mean that she is not mafia but perhaps more than just a townsperson.
It's Friday morning. Somehow two wooks despite having no money have gotten hold of a bunch of goo balls. So many that in their drunken and otherwise inebriated state they have started a goo ball fight with each other. As Sadielady begins to ponder not only how these wooks came into possession of these goo balls but why they would be so wasteful of them she finds herself caught in the crossfire. Suddenly "Whack" she is nailed in the back of the head with a goo ball. Her beautiful hair is now a matted mess of peanut butter and corn. She decides that it is too soon to be that dirty and that she must get the goo out of her hair. Sadie decides her best option will be to go to the Bonnaroo Salon hosted by Garnier Fructis. This proves to be a fatal error. While she is getting her hair washed a small amount of soapy water covers her eyes. She is lying with her head reclined and her eyes closed when she feels a towel come over her face to wipe away the soapy water or so she thinks. The towel passes over her face and wraps tightly around Sadie's throat. She suddenly realizes what is happening and starts to struggle but to no avail. In just moments she is reduced to a soapy lifeless lump.
Night One is over. Day Two begins.

I think it was HGH trying to confuse us some more by offing someone who did not vote for her. Everything she has done this game has been laced with trickery.
It could mean roo was mafia, and they wanted to bump off someone that voted for him.
I really think if Roo was mafia, the mafia would have taken out Handgun. That would have been more of an eye for an eye.
I dont know, that's kind of an obvious move for mafia. I think they picked somebody who could be seen as "important to the game" considering superbek pointed out that sadie won the game for the townspeople last time...

Yeah I see your point.
However, could this be a revenge move? Bama you were mafia last game and sadie won the game in the last round for the townspeople. Sounds like you have a good motive to whack sadie in the 1st round. Just throwing that out there.
Because I would totally be explaining the mafia's tactics if I was mafia. Seriously? A 'revenge whack' would make no sense in a completely different game...

I wasn't really being serious. I don't think you killed sadie for revenge. But I do think the mafia killed sadie because of her success in last game.
Although I am dead (or exiled??) I will use my imaginary vote on handgunhips. I just think if there was a cute girl in my avatar, I'd still be enjoying Bonnaroo with the rest of the townspeople.

Yeah, I don't see the logic in the mafia killing HGH last night. I mean, usually when there's a runoff vote, whoever survives just gets lynched the next day, because it's still the best thing the townspeople have to go on. So the mafia are better off taking out someone else. Not sure what threat sadie posed, though.
Anyway, I still stand by my conviction that HGH is innocent. I'm not voting yet, but when I do it won't be for her.

I"m not after you. In fact you are starting to make me think that you might not be mafia. I'm finding Steve more suspicious than you. Blue cadet does seem a bit bent on accusing you though doesn't he? Still voting for HGH tho. I think we wasted a day last time and were very close to getting the real thing. I think we choked last vote my fellow townspeople. I think we choked.
Dear Mafia veterans not involved in this game: I need advice & counsel on a hypothetical Night scenario that wasn't addressed when we made the rules of the game. I want to be prepared in the event it occurs. (Meg, thanks in advance for that PM in your inbox.)
Players: I'm sorry, but I'm going to get bureaucratic on this. I think a public discussion of this by active players during a game in progress might affect the game. I think the best way to go about it is to solicit the opinion of a neutral party. I haven't consulted the deceased players. It didn't happen in Night One, and I don't even know if it will happen this game. I just want to be ready for the "what-if?" should it happen.
Ok. So the last round didn't really help us prove who is mafia and who isn't. I think Handgun may be in the mafia but since a majority believes she is innocent then it is not worth dying to accuse her more. If she is truly mafia we will learn sooner or later and for better or worse. We just have to eliminate the other mafia members.
I vote for Campin' Mike just out of pure speculation.
