oh lordy....
the mafia is doing good this game because I'm not suspicious of anybody and here we are faced yet again with another run-off. Maybe the mafia are doing this on purpose because everyone's votes are so sporadic. It gives them a chance to to force a run off, killing one of two townspeople and leaving everyone scratching their heads.
fishingmaniac, I'm gonna let you off the hook (get it) this round. looks like you could live to play another day. i think you could be valueable later although that could come back to bite me in the ass...

This would fit into my theory that Steve is mafia since Steve changed his vote at the last minute which forced the run off. That is a brilliant strategy. Awe inspiring actually.
When he changed his vote he also said that it doesn't make a difference. This supports my theory that I'm gonna get whacked tonight anyway.

I think that Mike and Steve are mafia and Steve tried to save Mike by forcing a runoff. However, it back fired and now gave away his character.

awwwww.......
sorry townspeople, i really am one of your own. everybody is thinking that since its between me and fishing that one of us must be mafia. even though i originally voted for him i am starting to think we are both townies.
Steve >>> Fishingmaniac JPbrez >>> Mike Fishingmaniac >>> Mike Handgunhips >>> Mike BlueCadet >>> Mike Superbek >>> Mike MsFeli >>> Mike Mike >>> Fishingmaniac* * I'm assuming Mike's not voting for himself, even though he didn't explicitly vote Fishing.

Dude, you are so grasping at straws. First of all I changed my vote to you because you changed your vote first. You were trying to get Mike killed instead of you, and I felt strongly enough that he was innocent and you guilty to change my vote and give the run-off a chance to happen.
Secondly I didn't say that it wouldn't make a difference, I said it MAY not make a difference, and I was referring to the fact that one more person still needed to vote, and thus she has the potential to tip the scales, which she didn't.
News flash: I don't know if you are going to die tonight because I am not Mafia. I honestly don't know if you are either, but you've played so erratically--and in my opinion have been more defensive than HGH-- that I continue to suspect you. If you were to die tonight, I don't see how that is any evidence whatsoever to myself, or anyone else, being mafia. However, were it to happen, I do promise to make a public apology for suspecting you.
In all honesty, I wouldn't not be surprised if I were offed tonight. So there.

oh no, this is the first time i will be killed in a mafia game.
can we at least walk my coffin through shakedown and under the arch? sort of like they would in an old western movie when they would have the little procession through town.
good luck to the townspeople. it is you i will miss the most.
Steve >>> Fishingmaniac JPbrez >>> Mike Fishingmaniac >>> Mike Handgunhips >>> Mike BlueCadet >>> Mike Superbek >>> Mike MsFeli >>> Mike Mike >>> Fishingmaniac Tara >>> Mike Bama >>> Fishingmaniac Jack >>> Mike
Mike is at Planet Roo, entrusting his cell phone to Microsoft for charging up before a busy day on the farm. He heads off to a tent show, returning an hour later to retrieve his phone. Mike checks his phone to discover a strange new application installed. It is a navigation program, with a blinking Bonnaroo logo marking a nearby location. It appears to be some kind of promotional scavenger hunt. He's got time on his schedule, and figures the payoff for a promotion like this must be pretty big. Mike traverses Centeroo until he reaches his location, which he discovers to be midway beneath the arch. A message pops up on the screen, congratulating him for finding the location first. It also says he must respond to confirm. Mike replies. The second his message is sent, a pair of trap doors open along the underside of the arch. An anvil falls from the arch, giving Mike a split-second to realize his fate before it occurs.
Day Two has ended. Night Two has begun.
Mafia, PM me your victim and death story. Inspector, PM me your guess. Nurse, PM me the player you will guard tonight. Vigilante, PM me your victim and death story.
Heads-up to everyone that I'm working a night shift tonight. If I don't have all the PMs by 2pm, I'm unable to check back until closer to 11:30-midnight - assuming I have them all by that point.
That's the only way we're going to settle this. How else are you going to handle a 3-3-1-1-1-1-1 vote?
I would like to point out that, as the final voter in the initial Day Two vote, you could have prevented this.
i didn't mean it as we can do it another way. i understand what a tie vote calls for.. i meant that it is hard enough for me to decide initially on someone who i think is in the mafia.. and then i have to decide again.
and i do realize i was the last person to vote. unfortunately, i don't have the luxury of checking the internet while at work... so this game has to wait until after work for me to make a decision.
- i guess im not really good at playing this game.. because honestly.. i didnt even realize my vote for bama would make it so that there is was tie between fishing and mike. i didnt vote for either of them .. because i didnt suspect either.
The Mafia have spoken! It's late night. Friday. Very late. All the bands have stopped. Bama has just danced her little heart out to raging late night electronic sets. Yet she is not tired and cannot sleep. She goes for a walk as dawn approaches. It is surprisingly quiet. As she nears the turnstiles that enter centeroo she gets the feeling that she is being followed. She turns to look if anyone is following her and sees no one. Just then she is seized from behind, kicked in the leg and falls to her knees directly in front of one of the turnstiles. Her attacher grabs her long brown hair wraps it in their fist and begins to slam her head against the turnstile. BAM. BAM. BAM. BAM. Bama's dead.
The Vigilante has taken the law into their own hands! The security lines are outrageous and Jack324 is growing restless. He leaves his group behind with the car and trots up to the entrance to gather his ticket and guidebook. "FINALLY!" Jack thinks, as he starts his walk into the campgrounds. The heat and the walk starts to take its toll and he can't go on any longer without a nap. The trees are offering a generous amount of shade and he lays his head to sleep underneath one. A few hours later, Jack awakes fully refreshed, to a visitor. "Hello Jack." the creepy visitor greets him. He grasps the reality that he is the chosen one. "Jack, the Mafia are growing stronger. I am unsure of your innocence." Jack doesn't even have time to think straight before the stranger has him in a headlock being dragged into the woods. Pieces of Jack were found scattered throughout the woods in the weeks following Bonnaroo.
Night Two is over. Day Three begins.
Left to play: Steve JPbrez Fishingmaniac Handgunhips BlueCadet Superbek Tara MsFeli
and i do realize i was the last person to vote. unfortunately, i don't have the luxury of checking the internet while at work... so this game has to wait until after work for me to make a decision.

It takes time to get used to this. I can't fault you for having a learning curve. I'm sure nobody here will fault you for it, because a lot of us have had the same experience. I was mafia my first game, which kind of complicated things but also made me have to make sense of things at a faster pace.
As for the vote... if the round ends with two players tied for the lead, we have to decide between the two of them. We can't kill them both during the same day.
In that situation, where you're the last vote, voting for one of the tied players is probably the best way to go. If there's going to be a run-off, you'll have to choose between them at some point anyhow. Plus if you're sitting on the last vote, you can make the inevitable decision yourself as opposed to sharing that decision with everyone.
I don't anticipate so many run-offs now that we're moving out of the initial phase of uncertainty. Suspicions and rivalries have developed since Day One, so I think voting will be a little less haphazard than it is in the early rounds.
1. In the last round he originally voted for me but changed his vote at the last minute to Fish to force the runoff to try and save his mafia friend.
2. Steve, Mike, and Bama were the 3 people who voted for Fish in the runoff vote and the last round. Mike and Steve are mafia members so Steve wouldn't vote for Mike and Mike obviously couldn't vote for himself. Bama just doesn't like Fish (but who really does) and he falsely accused her so that is why she voted for him. The only person Steve could knock off without drawing attention to himself was Bama. If he killed anyone who voted for Mike, it would look like a revenge killing.
Mafia, it was a big mistake not to silence me last night… because now I have something to say.
I am the Inspector. Furthermore, I know who the Mafia is. If you’ll indulge me, I’ll tell you what’s happened on my end.
I was informed at the beginning of the game that rooconteur was Mafia. You’ll notice that I voted for him (and again in the run-off). The interesting thing was that the votes were almost split in half for handgunhips and rooconteur. I needed to know if HGH was innocent, because if she was it stood to reason that the other two Mafia would have voted for her as well, and not one of their own kind (so early in the game, they can still hope to hide in the anonymity of the large group and still work together). Night 1, I asked about HGH and learned that she is indeed innocent (I repeat, handgunhips is NOT MAFIA). That narrowed down the potential Mafia to the five remaining people that voted for HGH. But who? (Also note that sadielady, a person who voted for rooconteur, was one that got whacked).
fishingmanaic has played this game very well, I think. He’s been so quick to point fingers and then make more arguments using his own initial accusations as obvious foregone conclusions that it is easy to fall into trusting him. Even for a time, I was doing it. But he’s been so very vocal, so accusatory, and his logic has been so strained at times that I grew rather suspicious of him. Honestly I was surprised that the majority voted in his favor in the second run-off, but at least I could find out the truth about him come nightfall.
And I did. It was confirmed to me that fishingmaniac IS MAFIA.
People, we have this game clinched. We have already bumped off one Mafiosi, and another one we can get rid of right now. We are six strong right now again them, and there is little they can do so save themselves at this point. I know that revealing myself and making these accusations (which they of course will see are true), will almost definitely get me killed tonight. That doesn’t matter, because we are so close! Please, let us put a quick timely vote to fishingmaniac and get rid of another Mafia member.
I officially vote for fishingmaniac.
One last thing, my fellow Innocents. I have a very strong suspicion of who the third Mafia member is. I hesitate to make an accusation without being completely sure—I’d hate to see an innocent player get killed because of my hastiness—but once the vote for this round is close to being closed, and fishingmaniac’s fate is all but sealed, I will impart to you my suspicions so that you can use them in the next round, without me. Thanks for listening.

1. A loaded statement. I suspected Mike, along with others, because he voted for HGH in the first round. In fact I came out and said explicity that the reason I changed my vote to FM is because I trusted him even less than Mike, or anyone else.
2. More loaded statements; you've been swiping from fishingmaniac's playbook. If we were to consider Occam's Razor, wouldn't the simplest explanation be that the mafia (fishingmaniac et al) wanted to bump off someone that voted against them, because that would be one less person who actually suspected them? Of course it wouldn't be Mike-- he was only voting in his own favor. I guess they didn't kill me off because I've been so vocal that they feared my death would add weight to my suspicions. So Bama was the one to die (sorry, girl). There you go. Simplest explanation is, in this case indeed, the correct one.

I KNEW IT!! I'm so so sorry I almost got you killed in the first round by calling you out on being Inspector. I hope our nurse will try and protect you in any way possible, if our nurse is still around.
