Ive been away for a week or so. Several things.
I'm definitely down to meet up. I live 10 minutes away.
Landsdowne=Shakedown
For Red Sox games, they won't start a new innning past 1am. For concerts, it used to be 1030, but i kept hearing 11 for the dave shows tonight and tomorrow.
I can totally see them playing:
Dirty Water by the standells (that would be fucking awesome)-played after all sox wins Take Me out to the Ballgame -played every game Centerfield (put me in coach) by John Fogarty-played right before every game
I think they might open with Time Turns Elastic. Something they didn't play at Hampton. Maybe some gamehendge. Roses....Harpua....

I was lying in a burned out basement With the full moon in my eyes. I was hoping for replacement When the sun burst thru the sky. There was a band playing in my head And I felt like getting high.
Well DMB played Dirty Water last night, so I'd say that's out. Looks like we'll get the Star Spangled Banner. Who knows if that'll be the opener or not though.
Went to Beer Works and stuck around from about 4:45 - 5:30, but I couldn't spot any of you.
Oh well - seeing the complete and utter insanity up on Yawkey Way / Lansdowne St / Brookline Ave was definitely worth the short trip on the T. Beer Works was fun, but from what I saw, the real party was in the parking lot right next to Beer Works.
It reminded me a lot of Shakedown at Roo, actually, with people selling all sorts of stuff like vegan burritos, T-shirts and, uhhh, "balloons". Enjoy the show, guys - I expect a fully detailed report on all the awesomeness. I actually seriously considered getting a ticket for this show, but in the end, my broke self couldn't justify spending $50 on a ticket, when I'm already going to get two chances to see them at Roo next month.
