They didn't say a single word during Hampton either until the end of the 3rd night, they announced it was Fishmans dad's birthday and everyone sang happy birthday, then I think they thanked everyone and said it was an honor to be playing again, that was it.
It is a bit odd, but then I think about it and a lot of their shows from back in the day weren't filled with much chatter either... atleast of the recordings I have. There was the occasional recap of some new songs for all the setlist trackers... coughPTcough... and they did thank a lot of people from time to time, but really they've never been one to talk to the crowd too much... correct me if I'm wrong though?

i just think treys goofy and wanted to hear him say something silly then laugh into the mic a bit. oh well, i can deal with 3+ hours of music and no banter

Other than Gamehendge, and some notable incidents, like the Col Bruce Wind Beneath my Wings.
^^Did you miss him say "That's our single... hahaha!" after TTE?
Hehehe, I laughed so much. I love it when he giggles at himself like that ^_^
I thought about it on the way home just now and I don't recall much chatting from all the live recordings I have... of course, it could have been cut out but I doubt it... Maybe Trey's just not much of a talker on stage.

I thoroughly enjoy what they're doing on Moma Dance between Hampton and Fenway. It's always been a funktastic song, but it's just been one of my favorites of their shows so far both times it's played.
Yes... I will be at 'Great Woods' tomorrow! The weather looks great... upper 60's and sunny. Make sure to bring a hoody for when the sun goes down... especially if you're on the lawn like me
My friend just IM'ed me and we were shooting the shit. We were talking about the Fenway show. He says "my friend works security at Fenway, so we got free tickets. I had an extra, so I called you to see if you wanted to come, but I just got your voicemail. We had 5th row seats on the field"
