Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
6/10 only major "gets" aside from the headliners are arctic monkeys and lou reed and i guess maybe rise against. too much of their middle tier is playing bonnaroo.
I like the lineup alot, its like a mix between Bonnaroos & Coachellas lineups. Im so sad that I cant go this year, planning on hopefully going to ACL this year so hopefully their lineup is as solid as Lollas is.
I think the lineup is fantastic, I would give anything to see Lou Reed. But similar to what phat clam said, it's too bad that you cannot camp at this festival, that would make it a completely different experience.
it's like coachella and bonnaroo combined plus depeche mode, tool, and jane's addiction. pretty great. but the setup is what keeps it from being on bonnaroo's level. 30-45-hr. sets just suck compared to what we get at roo.

i'm not overly impressed. i'm going to roth and roo, and i know ACL's lineup is already shaping up to look like that(beastie boys, KoL, & thievery are all confirmed so far), and i'd rather see pearl jam over depeche as a headliner.
but, if i were closer, i'd probably try to at least get a day pass when KoL plays.
Decent undercard, I suppose... Allot of artists that are playing allot of shows, this year, not much exclusivity.
All in all, the only things on the lineup that would really get my engine revving, is Tool, Depeche Mode, and Lou Reed. The other good ones, I'm already seeing.
Ive been twice and I have never had a problem with the crowd. Well one time a lady asked the person with me if they could put out their cigarette, but that was about it. I have met a bunch of fun people and a couple of years ago we met some cool people at the show. Went to their hotel to party some and then went to a latenight show with them. Still talk to them occasionally. A festival is what you make of it.
fleet foxes, silversun, bon iver, ra ra riot, davy knowles!!!!, the low anthem are all fantastic mid / lower tier acts. the first 5 lines of artists are fantastic.
but, no camping, so hotel. plus airfare. and the "scene" there is nonexistent. byo corn, cuz i never saw a market stand there...

Depeche Mode headlining...I've been wishing for this for years at the Roo. I am so there, whether I have to max out my credit card to get there or not.

Solid lineup with Reed, MSTRKRFT, Thievery, Deerhunter, Tribe, Raveonettes, Gang Gang Dance, and Ida Maria being the most compelling standounts... plus I like that I might have a chance to catch a few bands that Roo conflicts will likely rule me out for.
White Denim - 8/13-14 Power of the Riff - 9/1-2 Bruce Springsteen - 9/19 & 9/21 Gonjasufi - 9/24 Jay Z - 10/4 Animal Collective - 10/5 Swans - 10/10 GWAR - 10/16 New Order - 10/18 Squarepusher - 11/1 Bassnectar - 11/18 Neil Young & Crazy Horse - 11/27 Bonnaroo 2013 - ???

Meh, I find it really weak. Depeche Mode as the top headliner? They couldn't even sell out my local shed in 2001 for their Exciter tour. Did the nostalgia for bad 80's pop synth increase since then?
I will say it's got a real solid mid-card, but as previously mentioned 30 - 45min sets are what 6 songs?
I am happy for those that are excited to go, but this is just not ringing my bell.

At least for me, this looks like a lineup I would love to see. I rarely care much for the headliners at any of the big festivals, and I'm indifferent towards Depeche Mode/Tool/Killers as I am towards Springsteen/doublePhish (if slightly less, as the two servings of Phish is a bit of a turn-off for me). Under the top acts (and I could care less for the entire first three rows on both Lollapalooza and Bonnaroo's lineup), it's very similar to Bonnaroo. Arctic Monkeys + Ida Maria + double Animal Collective + Hercules and Love Affair + Vampire Weekend + Fleet Foxes is making me want to hit this up. 45m set times + the Lolla crowd + no camping + lack of Yeah Yeah Yeahs are probably gonna keep me on the farm this summer. Though Chicago's close enough that I might see if I can get a day pass, especially if Arctic Monkeys land on the same day as a couple other acts that I'm interested in.
