Looking online I noticed next weeks episode is titled "Bug." If it's at all likethe episode "Fly" from last season I'm going to be super pissed. That's the only episode of BB I've ever disliked, so I hope they don't ruin this stellar run they've been on the past few weeks with a similar episode.
I really enjoyed the Fly episode but I can imagine that if I was watching it while the episodes were airing and not during a 3 day long watching spree I may have felt differently
Walt is not in any position to take over anything. I think this season is going to end with his realization, probably due to a horrible tragedy such as the murder of one of his family members, that he NEEDS to get out of this game.
Another thing that just occurred to me is I'm very excited to see what happens between Tio/Gus now that the entire (?) mexican cartel is dead. That is, if Gus doesn't die from poisoning himself.
see that's why i could see them letting walt take over (the writers, not the actual characters b/c none of them would let walter be in charge obviously), b/c he would make such a clusterquack out of everything.
if he got "out of the game", would there even be a show left??? haha

Thats kind of the whole point, I think this last season (vince gilligan said awhile back that 5 seasons would be ideal for him) will be Walt trying to get out. It's been often theorized since the beginning of the show that it was going to eventually depict Walter White's demise. Who knows for sure, but obviously some big shit has to happen pretty soon.
Also the last episode is called "Face off" which makes me really really really excited to see it.

Word. This season took a few episodes to really get rolling for me, but I am so anxious to see how it turns out now. I wonder who the face-off is going to be? Walt v. Gus? Walt v. Jessie?
Ok, now back to avoiding this thread until I see last night's episode.
Seriously, it's hard to imagine a more intense and perfect scene to end an episode of T.V. Walt's maniacal laugh in the background while Skyler was talking to Marie on the phone was just fucking haunting. Gave me the chills.
Yeah that last scene seriously gave me the chills. Fucking crazy.
I feel like Walt's stupidity is more or less behind him. I think he's realized the error of his ways and is now gonna start pushing forward to make everything as right as he can. From the looks of the "next time on..." segment on the website, it looks like Walter doesn't plan on disappearing with Skyler and the rest of his family.

Also, Skyler should have all her illusions about her family being safe pretty much wiped out now. We need to start placing bets on who is not going to make it through the end of this season especially with Mike being out of the picture for a little bit.

That was a fast hour before Sol made the call, Walt barely got in the door.
This season has become so intense, it was pretty slow rolling at first but its continued to build and build and now the tension is almost unbearable. Walt has been pretty dumb this season and its coming back to bite him. The way things have been set up, I don't think I'm going to completely like the resolution to the season, but I guess that's to be expected when you like all the characters (except Skylar, obviously and some are on opposite sides.

Well since there's only one season left after this, I'd say sometime in the next 15 episodes?
I don't remember who posted it (maybe MC?), but there was a link chronicling how long the story has been going on. I think it was something like 32 weeks. It's hard to remember that when the show started 3.5 years ago.
