Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
So I'm thoroughly prepared, have almost everything I will need to make Bonnaroo an amazing experience both day and night.
My question is, what should I bring for other people? What do you often end up giving or loaning to other people at Roo? Extra beer seems obvious, and extra cigarettes (if you are a smoker), but other than that I'm relatively unprepared to help others that have left behind items of vital, or not so vital, importance.

Yeah I've seen that thread, and thanks for the link, but I was talking more along the lines of:
"Hey stranger, hows it going?" Stranger:"Oh just dandy but I sure could use a brew or a bottled water or a cigarette or a glowy thing or a cold apple and maybe some corn if you like corn..." Me:"Hey stranger you're in luck! Join me in my temporary abode and take part in all of these random things people told me to bring!"

I'm bringing a spare air mattress, mostly so that I can keep it outside of my tent and sleep on it during the day, but I am willing to sacrifice it for someone who has no campsite to crash at, or someone who is hopelessly lost, fubared, and just needs to sleep.
Bring extra baby wipes, people can always use those. And anything you light with a lighter is always a hit.
seriously? can wolfaroo make a new thread without being harassed? lol
Seriously - I wasn't harassing or telling him to post there - I really don't give a damn who posts where - I was simply making a suggestion that he might want to check that thread out also if he wants to bring some extra stuff. Troo has done this for the past few years and it always works out as a great way for people to hook up and share stuff.
Wolfaroo - sorry if it seems as though I am picking on you - although - i don't know how - because I really have not paid attention to who was posting what.

One time I was in one of the beer tents and this guy walks up to me and says "Dude I'm really f**cked up. I've lost all my sh!t. See my feet? I lost my shoes and my feet are all f**cked up, you wanna sell your sh!t (referring to my sandals).
So you might want to bring an extra pair of sandals or flip flop for unfortunates like him.

No no, I know you were just being helpful, it's just amusing because every thread I have started has either already had a thread somewhere deep in the forum or at least something similar, and I get redirected there. I took no offense, believe me. ;D

thanks - because I truly did not mean to be offensive and I don't think anyone else that does re-directs does either - we are just trying to be helpful - I guess there can be such a thing as being too helpful tho
Besides the great ones here, especially sthomas1312's post, I heard a few medical ones last year...
In addition to 100 baby wipes and gold bond, I bought a cheap $5 first aid kit from Wal-mart, but I should probably check the contents to see if it has anything remotely useful in it like ibuprofen.. I also got a nice big bottle (well bigger than I will need for four days) of no-rinse soap stuff. Should come in handy.
Based upon what I've had to borrow: A rubber mallet for tent stakes Jumper cables I usually hit CVS and the sample bin and bring along some sample Gold Bond. Band aids are often forgotten. My wife usually carries spray sun tan lotion and we've sprayed numerous backs.
Cigarettes, for sure. I'm a smoker and usually end up smoking WAY more than usual while I'm on the Farm. Also, if you bring a lot of extra packs, you can usually sell them on Sunday to those in need.

I'm bringing extra chairs, lotsa water, extensive first aid kit including iv fluids, etc.. Anyways, good thread. We'll probably bring enough crap for 4 people even tho there's only two of us.
