I voted for Michael Dukakis, because I was 8 years old and saw him riding in a tank. I was a bit young to understand it then, but it was a bit more sophisticated than that - it was actually an attack ad (footage of Dukakis riding the tank in a parade to the sounds of easy listening - Barbara Streisand?) trying to make him look silly.
I always knew you're political views were the result of misunderstanding things. ;D
I am wary of the validity of statements made by individuals who cannot properly differentiate between "your" and "you're." Kinda makes those individuals come across like this guy...
...wouldn't you agree?
I would also like to point out that this guy is a Cardinals fan.
hmmmm.... I know you've had a long day and on top of all that you're probably gonna be mad at me so...
Will you ever trust me again? Do you still wanna be first round voting partners? Do you know that I still love you?
Crap... did you just win at Mafia or something? I like this thread more so it takes priority over Mafia. Haven't checked yet. As far as those questions: Never; OK... Mafia's "til death do you part" right?; I guess I do now.

Hey kdogg. Remember that time when the Cardinals>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Brewers
BMOTM is a lot like bonnaroo... if you don't like the lineup, DON'T PARTICIPATE.
*ahem* What do you think kdogg?
I'd have preferred that GKing asked a legitimate question and received an unsatisfactory answer before complaining, but to each his own... this thread is open to all.
I can understand where the "long-winded" and "self-indulgent" criticisms come from, but I'm kinda baffled about "egotistical."
Some simple questions need a long answer. One that first comes to mind is Jack asking why I got into politics. I don't care who you are... anyone could probably go on at some length as to why they selected their chosen field. Am I wrong here?
If I were truly, truly self-indulgent... I wouldn't have made the "Across the Sea" long answer contingent on a follow-up question.
Would y'all have preferred that, when asked about phobias (for example), I had simply said "needles" with no further explanation? I've still got 2 1/2 weeks to tweak with my answer format...
kdogg you're the greatest and I for one happen to like your long answers and have been trying to ask you open ended questions were you can elaborate. Not because you're long winded, but because you're thorough, an admirable trait imho. Also, this is your thread for the duration of the month, YOU are BMOTM and YOU can say whatever you want to because right now it is all about YOU.
Damn! I guess you got me there! I mean...how could me posting about soemthing (That I thought was a life changing experience, but turned out to be a life changing experience) could ever garner as much attention as KDOGG endlessly rambling about his favorite beer, his childish fear of needles, his 4th grade adventures, what political puppet he feels like supporting this time, how his "pump jockey" career choice is so much more credible than anyone else's, or if superbek wants to admit that she's in love with him...or any other number of absolutely useless crap?
Right?
Good job trying to use some dirty, deeply-personal, bullhonkey brah, cheap shot to fluster me, but I think we should just keep it about your 5-paragraph-ego. Stooge.
Come on, man. You're just two steps away from accosting strangers in Wal-Mart, trying to tell them about God, or Politics, or how your ex stole your children. It doesn't matter if there's a few perverts who want to watch, it's still just shameless masturbation.
Jesus, you're amazingly transparent.

You're kinda an jerkstore aren't you. What made you like this?
I used to think King was an alright guy until he made the thread I linked to (and I was right, it did push the troll's buttons - mission accomplished there.) He left for a while after that, and has been a 8===D ever since coming back from it. At least, that's my guess. King is pissed about things he can't control elsewhere in his life, so he's taking it out on us here. Jesus, he's amazingly transparent.
Despite the needle phobia, I did consider a tattoo when I was 18-19. What it would've been, though, is that goofy kid with the weezer shirt in my avatar. It's from a shirt that was sold back on their 1997 tour... opening for No Doubt That kid is totally me circa age 16. I figured even if they came back and sucked (which eventually did happen) that it'd at least be a memento of me in my youth. But again... needles, no thanks.

oh.... I thought wolf's question was directed to kdogg!
and I totally just realized that g king is gathering king... wow you're right kdogg, he was great when he first showed up around the board. I never would have guessed them to be the same person! how sad.
Food Science sounds rad! It was. It was on TV and archived online. I took it with my roommate Stoney P. We'd each just watch half the lectures the night before exams and compare notes. Among the highlights were episodes on making cotton candy and brewing beer.
If you could pick the first beer I drink when I am once again able to partake....what beer would that be? Will you buy it for me? I'll suggest New Glarus Spotted Cow... but I don't know if it's legal for me to buy for you anywhere outside of this state.
A glass of red wine or a Jack Daniels on the rocks? Jack
Did you seriously think I was Mafia or were you just trying to infuriate me? For a while, I did... you wound up being the only player I could trust near the end of it, though.
Do you use your local library? Why or why not? No. I've been stuck back in the hometown six months months now, but haven't gotten a card at the local one yet. Still have my Madison library card. I still own several unread books. I keep telling myself I should go through them first. Been thinking about giving one of the - On the Road - another shot. I've started but not finished that book 4-5 times in my life... usually because the road trip I'm psyching myself up for arrives before I finish the book.
Do you agree that the girl on the bottom left hand of the background picture (in the black triangle shirt) has amazing posture? The one with the blue backpack slung over her shoulder? Absolutely.
If not what are five (reasonable) acts you would add.
I never did get a clarification, so I'm just going to answer.
Neil Young (usurper of the House of Leon) the Pixies (touring behind Doolittle & I kinda like the "whole album" set idea that's already evident with the Lips) Brian Wilson (legend... Rivers Cuomo just might up his game if he knew this guy was watching) Them Crooked Vultures (I figure this set has much guest-spot potential) Lords of Acid (#5 was a tough choice... I went with them because 1. they'd probably play late night and 2. said set would accumulate a rather large proportion of women with loose morals)

I just looked at it on their website. "fun, fruity and satisfying...with a little hint of corn". Too bad I won't really get to try it.

Too bad. I learned once how to make a tattoo gun outta a walkman, some rubberbands, a sewing needle and some pen ink. I never tried it but I'm dying to know if it works. ;D
Whats the casino you are most looking forward to, in Vegas?

That last choice was just a smart-ass act/reasoning because I was running late for work. It was "pencils down" time and I had to pull something out of my ass. After further consideration... I would definitely give that 5th spot to Andrew W.K. instead.

When are you going to be in Vegas? This may have been addressed, but as I've stated in other threads "I didn't read the whole thread."
Dad & I are flying out to San Diego and helping my brother move back to Wisconsin. Definitely flying to/staying in SD on the 28th/1st, before we all drive back... which probably makes Vegas on March 2nd. All I know is that Dad & I plan to fly out the 28th, and we intend to return home sometime late 4th/early 5th.

I did a whirlwind night once before, so I satisfied a lot of my curiosities then. My most magic moment on that visit happened at MGM Grand, wandering to find my friends when an usher flung open a pair of doors revealing Tom Jones singing inside. I'm going to wander wherever and hope the magic finds me. My biggest woulda-coulda regrets from that trip didn't involve not visiting casinos.
