If you could time travel into the past (to any place, any time), when and where would you go?
I thought of a lot of various answers to this question... a lot of thoughts came to mind. Phish's Big Cyprus New Years Phestival would've been a cool thing to witness, and with a time machine I wouldn't have had to wait in that godawful line which would be convenient. I'd love to have been at THE Woodstock just to experience something like that. A true Pink Floyd show from their Animals tour.... they all sound awesome.
But, I think if I had to pick just 1 time and place to go I'd have to go back all the way to the beginning of time, just to find out which truly came first... the chicken or the egg. That question has driven me insane on more than one occasion, and my ultimate knowledge on the matter would bring me fortunes!

I can answer the chicken vs. egg question. It's simple really. The egg had to come first. Evolution is a process of mutation. So whatever laid the egg was not actually a chicken, but the offspring inside was most certainly a chicken that had mutated slightly from whatever it's parent was. Hence the egg came first. Now choose again.
Guilty pleasures is tough. I can really only think of one at the moment... Reality TV shows on MTV/VH1. I find them hilarious. I'm never sure if that's their intention or not, but I laugh regardless.
Do you watch Daisy of Love, and, if so, do you think it is hysterical that the guys on that show keep leaving voluntarily?

Absolutely, and absolutely!
I often think I watch shows like that just to increase my self esteem
What is the strangest thing that you have ever eaten?
I've never really been exposed to that much exotic or strange food. I once went to an authentic-ish luau and ate a whole bunch of stuff I had no idea what it was... I think it was a bunch of seaweed type stuff that I was really not all about. I've also had fried frog legs, but that's not too strange I don't think... just delicious
If you were able to be on the old American Gladiators show as a gladiator, what would your name be and what would be your best event?
Ha! I love it!!
It's a shame Blaze has already been taken... ;D I guess my name would have to be something along the lines of RooR. You either don't get it, or you understand the annihilation that would come from facing me
And without a doubt, my best event would be the joust. My superior wingspan would work to my advantage
I've had a small thing for miss Grace Potter I suppose ever since AllGood. Well, a while before then actually... but it wasn't confirmed until AllGood
I sure do! Although to be honest I've always thought a life sentence in prison is more harsh than the death penalty. I know I personally would rather be dead than live behind bars the rest of my life.

Josh and one of his friends are planning on going to the Marilyn Manson/Slayer show at whatever the HiFi Buys Amphitheatre is called now (oh, yeah, it's Aaron's Amphitheatre at Lakewood). Also on the bill are: Killswitch Engage, Bullet For My Valentine, Trivium, All That Remains, God Forbid, Cannibal Corpse, Job For a Cowboy, Behemoth, The Black Dahlia Murder, and White Chapel. Essentially, we are talking about hours and hours of music that . . . I can't think of anything clever to say, so I'll just say hours and hours of music that I hate. Nevertheless, Josh and his friend think I should go. The thing is, I love people-watching, and I figure that this will be quite the opportunity to see some people that I ordinarily would not be seeing. Also, Josh's friend gets all prettied up for Marilyn Manson shows. Last time they went to one, he ended up in the Atlanta paper. So, it also might be fun to watch him/people's reaction to him.
Favorite: I'm gonna have to go with Z. I had heard My Morning Jacket before listening to this album and I thought they were alright and I think I used the term "listenable." When I threw on Z for the first time though, I think something inside me clicked and ever since then I was noticing the individual aspects of the band, rather than just looking at the big picture of what they sounded like, if that makes sense? I noticed Jim James incredible vocal talents while still shredding his guitar, I heard the smooth basslines and the impeccable drumming. Plus, Dondante is just a monster of a song. So essentially, Z is what made me fall in love with MMJ.
Least Favorite: I can honestly say there isn't a MMJ album which I don't like. So by least favorite, it's actually more like 5th favorite album, if you're not counting the EPs that is. I think I'm gonna have to go with The Tennessee Fire. It's still an incredible album, it just gets the fewest plays by me for reasons unknown. Maybe it's just being their first album, the band hadn't evolved yet to what I heard when I came to love them. However, when I heard tracks from this album now they are some of my most anticipated songs to hear live, such as War Begun, I Think I'm Going to Hell, and The Dark to name a few. I really can't say anything bad about this album to be honest. It's just the 5th best record they've done in my opinion
Why is Whiskeytown so great to listen to after you've been drinking?
Whiskeytown is great to listen to even when you haven't been drinking. The combo of Ryan Adams and Caitlin Cary is quite intoxicating in itself, so if you've already been drinking and then you throw on a Whiskeytown album then you're just doing yourself and your buzz a huge favor.

So, my question is: Should I go?
Yes. Bring a camera, take pictures of the people, and post them on here for all of us to laugh at. Maybe bring an ipod, too
