As a print and packaging designer, this ticket has WEAK SAUCE written all over it... totally unimpressed from the pictures!
The fact they had to warn you about not accidently ripping off the stub during the "let's build a table tent process" proves how bad of an idea extra perforation...
I just got to thinking..........do you think there's any connection to the 3D phish show rumor and these 3D tickets? Perhaps the reasoning for 3d tix are because of a 3d night show........hmmmmmmmmmm
My ticket is staying flat. I think the folding ticket is kind of a silly idea. But I really don't care too much what the ticket looks like as long as it does what I paid for it to do.

yeah thats not very cool haha. maybe it is just intended to be folded after roo? i cant imagine 80k people driving to TN with these 3d things in their car rather than just having them in the envelope it came in, flat and protected.

lame, mostly because they ruined the surprise of opening your mail to find a new incredible design. i dont know about you guys, but that was always something cool that i looked forward to.

That was my plan until bonnaroo foiled it by sending me an email with a picture. I looked, but only for a second. I know a little about them but did not watch the video.

Can someone explain how this 3D night show is supposed to work? I don't understand how a live show can be '3D'? Is it just on the big jumbotrons?

ticket origami for stoners? i don't trust myself to do this, i have trouble not ripping things when they're flat. i'll wait till i've got my wristband on and secure to make a paper sculpture. cool idea though.

Funny... I often have trouble wondering how a live show can't be 3D!
And once again, I am left with a feeling of "meh." It's something different, something interesting, but nothing jaw-dropping and awesome.
Maybe their budgets were low this year so instead of spending money on a fancy graphic designer to make the tickets they hired a kindergarten teacher for a day instead ;D

Meh, mine will stay safe and flat, forever in my box of tickets and stubs. It's creative but pretty much useless. Not being a Negative Nance though, from what I can tell it's still pretty neat looking. I really don't care, I just want Trey and the boys to make love to the holes in my face and see some other awesome stuff June 11-14 all while meeting kind folks along the way.... everything else just takes a back seat.
i appreciate them trying to do something different this year... but if i was getting a ticket, there's no way i would fold it. In the past, I've been worried about the preforation being ripped without even bending it. Also, I'd be worried about it flying out of my window while sitting on the dashboard. seems silly to risk not getting into bonnaroo.
